Renaie snorted silently as they wandered - no, paced the greenspace beside the pool.

If they were honest, they didn't like to rest. Not in the literal sense of sleeping, but spending a whole - well, Renaie didn't know how long, but it felt like a few weeks, at least - month actually not doing anything mission/work related.

oO I want to do something, I'm a medical officer! I can help up on the Blackheart! They need help up there, why can't I help? Oo

It was calm. In Renaie's opinion, it was too calm. They didn't like it when it was too calm. Calm, for them, either meant people were dead, or something was about to go wrong.

They missed the Astraeus dance parties in quiet sickbay. They had to be honest, they missed their friends.

They missed the way things were.

Truth be told, Renaie didn't particularly like it on The Farm. They wanted to do something.

They were slowly interrupted by a voice they'd only recently come into contact with.
