((Corridor Near Workerbee Shuttlebay, Deck 3, Section A47, USS Compass Rose))

Alyndra looked at them both, before she placed her hands calmly behind her back and started to speak.

Syrex: Regardless of their rank, one thing is clear. This woman is a patient, she is struggling. Like Om-Zora said, if we need to call her Captain to gain her trust, we will. To her, we are strangers, she is clearly suffering from paranoia, and if calling herself captain is a method of her giving herself some control of the situation, we’ll do it.

Deacon: Even if she’s not giving up her location, we should be able to track her, right? If you access the system and find out her actual rank, you should obtain her bio information, which we can use to scan for her. I’m hoping she’s on the bridge; it would save us a lot of trouble.

Om-Zora: Ah. It appears she may actually be an ensign. If all we have is the name Holley, there are, or were, two people on the ship who shared that name in some capacity or another. But only one of them is a surname. Georgia Holley. Human. By tradition, I would suppose she is referring to herself with her surname on this ship.

Alyndra nodded at him.

Syrex: If I’m not mistaken, that Starfleet tradition actually came from old human Naval procedures? That seems to add up.

Deacon: Yup, that tracks.

Om-Zora: Hmm… have we considered she may be ON the bridge? We may not need to take any detours at all from where we were headed as is. She did call over the main communication system. It is not that she couldn’t be elsewhere, but the easiest place to get a call out to the entire ship is often the bridge. There is a specific button for it.

Syrex: Given that we now know they are an Ensign, they may not know how to access it from other points on the ship. Having a… for lack of better terms.. “Big Red Button” on the bridge is likely the exact situation we are looking at. Lieutenant Frost, what's the quickest way to the bridge? I’m assuming you saw some schematics when you were in the secondary hull with Commander Kel?

Deacon: I actually downloaded a copy of the USS Grissom. Oberth-class ships were cookie-cutter, with minor deviations here and there, but nothing that should hamper us.

Alyndra went to scratch her chin, however, without realising her helmet was still on, her arm awkwardly bumped off the transparent aluminium alloy window. Not wanting to look stupid, she scratched her helmet with the original ferocity her chin was designed to have applied to it.

Syrex: What’s the risk to us? Can we just take the lift straight up to the bridge? We saw earlier that the other crew on this boat are clearly preoccupied.

Deacon: They’re in working order, so I don’t see why not. I’ll just make sure I’m the first one out, just in case they get squirrly. I’ve got my rifle on the heavy stun setting, they’ll wake up with a headache, but they’ll be alive.

Holley: =/\= Are you real? =/\=

Deacon: =/\= Captain, hang tight, alright. =/\=

Om-Zora: Response

Alyndra nodded uprightly, slapping her combadge. Admittedly a little annoyed, but equally understanding about Frosts willingness to inflict harm on his fellow officers.

Syrex: =/\= We’re on our way, Captain. Hang tight =/\=

Holley: ::strained:: =/\= Okay. I’ll… be here. =/\=

Every ounce of Alyndra’s bedside manner screamed at her. She needed to be by Holleys side, supporting her, and making sure she was alright. She knew she was the away teams lead, a responsibility that weighed on her, but first, she was a Starfleet doctor.

Deacon: I suggest we get up there and get moving.

Om-Zora: Response

Holley: =/\= Should I… do something to make this easier? =/\=

Deacon: Just stay right where you are cap, we’ll be to you in a jiffy.

Lt Frost almost seemed to take pride in his weapon. The way he adjusted the phaser rifle almost looked like sport to him… Alyndra took a deep breath in, then slowly released it. Maybe she was just being paranoid, a little bit jumpy even.

Alyndra snapped out of it, following Frost as he led them down the corridor towards the turbolift. She was certain her ring was red… Not that there was anything they could do about it then and there.

Om-Zora/Holley: Response

They arrived at the red turbolift doors. Just for a moment, Alyndra felt like an earth-sheep as Mister Frost herded herself and Om-Zora into the capsule before he himself entered.

oO What does that make Om-Zora, a chicken? Still… Most attractive chicken I ever saw… Oo

Alyndra wanted to slap herself in that moment, what was she even thinking?

Deacon: All in…

Syrex: Yup…

oO Search and Rescue Specialist!? There are three of us, just count!!! Oo

Om-Zora/Holley: Response

((Deck 1, Bridge, USS Compass Rose))

Kel: =/\= Kel to Syrex.  Are you still headed for the bridge? =/\=

Alyndra slapped her chest to answer the comm as the turbo-lift moved up through the ship.

Syrex: =/\= Aye, Commander. We are in the turbolift now =/\=

Kel: =/\= Be advised, the internal sensors are showing a space we can't scan in the conference room off the bridge.  Could be nothing but use caution.  I'm going to move to the outrigger to check some similar spots  there.

Syrex: =/\= Acknowledged, we’ll check it out. =/\=

Just as Alyndra finished her sentence, the lift halted, and the doors slowly opened in response to Lt Frosts button pushing. As the door opened, a bright red light flooded into the capsule.

Deacon: Captain? Captain Holley? This Lieutenant Frost, we’re here to assist you. Can you give me an idea of how you are so that you can be treated accordingly?

Syrex: Treated accordingly? We have one patient, Lieutenant. We don’t need to triage this.

Alyndra softened her tone, as she looked reassuringly towards Captain Holley.

Syrex: How are you, Captain? Are you injured? Do you need anything? I’m Alyndra, we spoke on the comm, and my team, along with myself. We’re here to help. However we can.

Deacon/Om-Zora/Holley: Response

Alyndra looked towards the centre chair, concerned at the figures lack of movement.

Syrex: Who’s your friend?

Deacon/Om-Zora/Holley: Response

Alyndra gazed at Holley, hoping for some kind of personal connection. Hoping it might calm her down.

Syrex: Your first name is Georgia, right? May I call you Georgia? I call my captain Karrod, but only because he’s basically my uncle.

Deacon/Om-Zora/Holley: Response
