((Sickbay, Deck 10, USS Ronin))
It was still quite early in his day, and Rylar was still settling in to his new role on the Ronin. He sat at a desk to the side of sickbay, filling out some reports on his PADD for a crewmate who had complained of a stomach ache. So far, his patients hadn't seemed that different than anywhere else that he could have practiced. Around him, other staff were taking stock of their inventory of medicine and supplies. It wouldn't be good to suddenly realize you were short of painkillers in an emergency, after all.
When the sickbay doors slid open, he turned to see a man in a blue uniform with the pips of a Commander walk in, with three other crewmembers in tow, the Chief of Security and two fellow Ensigns. Rylar rose from the desk and stepped forward to greet them.
Oswald: Nice place you got here.
Kessler/Nakada/Wren/Any: Response
Cerisor: Thank you, Commander. We've been quite busy with the supply inventory, but we've been keeping things running smoothly. I'm Doctor Cerisor. Are you feeling-
Oswald: Thank you, but that won't be necessary, I'm an android.
Rylar's brows raised at that. This was his first time meeting an android, and he quite honestly couldn't have told at first glance. He gave a look to the other crew with him.
Cerisor: I-I see. Well. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have, or if you'd like me to fetch Doctor de la Croix, I'm sure she is around somewhere.
Kessler/Nakada/Wren/Any: Response
Oswald: Actually I do have a question. Mr. Kessler expressed some distaste earlier when I mentioned that I could take in organic food and then regurgitate it later. I thought maybe he and others would be more comfortable if I could take in such substances and then excrete it from a more traditionally humanoid location. Would you be able to update my system in that way?
Cerisor: ::looking blankly at Oswald:: Huh?
Kessler/Nakada/Wren/Any: Response
Oswald: Response
Cerisor: I-I mean, we certainly could, er, try. I just... why? If you don't need to do it, I mean.

Rylar looked again from the android, to the group with him. A few of the medical team had stopped to see the interaction. Not wanting to turn away a patient, even a non-organic one, Rylar motioned to a biobed.
Cerisor: Well, Commander. I'm more of a organic Doctor, and that sounds more like a job for a roboticst. However, there's no harm in taking a look, right? It seems that you have some engineers with you.
Oswald: Response
Kessler/Nakada/Wren/Any: Response
Rylar lead the quartet to the bed, letting the Commander lie down on it. Finding the medical scanner, Rylar looked to the screen above the bed as he waved it over the android's torso.
Cerisor: As I suspected, your internals are entirely mechanical. However... it does appear to be attempting to mimic a human body system. Your circuits seem to be following the same basic path as a nervous system. You're obvious missing lungs and similar organs... but, there's actually quite a bit of room in there.
Oswald: Response
Rylar turned to the other Ensigns present.
Cerisor: Supposing the Commander would like to... proceed. How feasible would this be, from a robotics perspective?
This has definitely been the weirdest day yet.
