Kangar: Yeah, about that…What if I didn’t want to be cured? What if I wanted to stay this age?

The nurse seemed to ponder that for a moment.  

Rox: I think that's something you should speak to a counselor about, but would you like some unsolicited advice?

He pegged her as the type who might give it anyway so he might as well play along. He shrugged at her.

Kangar: Why not. 

Rox: Loosing a few years isn't a cure all.  Changing yourself won't suddenly make your problems evaporate.

Kangar: I suppose that’s true. But still who wouldn’t want to lose their crows feet or not ache every time they stood up? Maybe youth doesn't have to be wasted on the young in this case.

Rox leaned over to the LCARs display and dimmed the lights.

Rox:  I just know I was a pain in the ass when I was a teenager.  I don't think the universe needs a repeat of that. Get some rest, I'll be back shortly.

He nodded and smiled at her.

Kangar:  I’ll give it some thought.

Though as the nurse turned and walked over to the next biobed, the thoughts were more of developing the who and where of his next identity.
