((Did a lot of stitching here, so I hope everything worked out ok))

((Harmony Shores Collaborative Resort))

The Collaborative Resort pulled out all the stops when it came to creating environments conducive brining parties together. Couches and cushions were strewn throughout the area.  Members of species from across the sector shared meals, conversed and laughed. As they moved toward the exit, Rox could smell the briny air and a cool breeze blew through her hair.  As she ran her fingers through it bits of bean and eggs fell out.

Rox: How'd that get in there?

Beck: ::shaking his head:: Feels like junior year at Starfleet Medical all over again.

Raga: Reminds me of the six months I spent in Marine training. The quantity of alcohol that could be imbibed was practically a statistical wonder.

De La Croix:  Do you remember when we got that bottle of absolutely dreadful Rom...Remala...Rostican...that glowing blue stuff and spent six hours arguing about the ethics of cybernetic organ replacement?  Oh...hang on...

Thess fussed with her sleeve and then gasped theatrically.

De La Croix:  Goodness it seems like I may have been involved in the walk by fooding we experienced earlier...I'm sure in a merely self-defensive capacity, of course.

Kessler: Why am I not surprised?

Rox began laughing and pointed at Thess with a smile.

Rox:  That's right you did!  Some arm you have.

Beck: =/\= Beck to Sickbay. I need you to send down a medical kit with two doses of Purge and something for a hangover. =/\=

Nurse: =/\= Y–es, Doctor. I'll put that together for you now. =/\=

With fresh air in her lungs, a lightness in her chest and enough of the delightfully strong local champaign running through her, Thess's evening was truly going wonderfully.  She leaned in conspiratorially towards Roxanne and nodded towards their erstwhile chaperons.

De La Croix:  Think we should ditch them?  There's a marvelous club a few streets over that serves a chowder dish that's simply divine and I am famished!

Rox: I could go for that.

k’Oar-€l: Nursing Rocks, Nursing Rocks please waiting. This one is here to helping.

Kessler: The rumors of this one are going to be hard to snuff out Commander.

It was at that moment that a new, but familiar voice called out to Rox and she turned to see k’Oar-€l hurrying toward the group.

k’Oar-€l: Nursing Rocks, Nursing Rocks please waiting. This one is here to helping.

Beck: ::with a snort:: I always wondered how rumors got started around here, now I know. ::to Rox:: It's always you. Why are you so obsessed with me?

Rox stuck her tongue out at Beck and resisted the urge to salute him in the special way the people of Turkana IV would have.

Raga: I’m no counselor but I would imagine either loathing or infatuation.

De La Croix:  In both my professional and personal opinion I'm quite certain it's loathing dear, but if you'd like to try embarrassing yourself I'm sure we'd all enjoy seeing that.  I know I would.

Rox took a few steps away from the group to meet k’Oar-€l.

k’Oar-€l: This one appears to being too late-ish to being saving Nursing Rock’s boat vessel. However, It views as though you escaped your lungs filling with water. ::looks at her closer:: But…Why is Nursing Rocks not all moistened?

Rox: ::chuckling:: I wasn't swimming, I got arrested.

Kessler: Response

Something shimmered into existence behind them, probably whatever concoction Beck had ordered up.

Beck: Let's let them walk it off just a little before I apply the Purge. They're gonna start cursing once the dehydration sets in.

Raga: Well, fortunately for them harsh language isn’t a punishable offense as long as it’s not insubordinate.

De La Croix:  I'll have you know I have never once been insubordinate in my life and, to the best of my knowledge, neither has Roxanne here.  Right?

Kessler: Then I would suggest you keep your golden track record spotless Doctor.

Rox: ::turning to Thess::  It sort of depends on how you define the word insubordinate.  I'd say I was subordinate adjacent at the most.

k’Oar-€l: Commander O’Connor expressioned that Nursing Rocks was in troubleness and this one needed to assisting in bailing her out.

Rox: ::turning back to k’Oar-€l:: I think it was a different kind of bail. ::glancing at Kessler::  Which I may still need.

Beck: Response

Raga: Miss Queen. ::his timbre was slightly deeper than normal:: I think you’ve had enough. ::there was the briefest of pauses:: I expected better from you. ::to Quentin:: I think it’s time for those hyposprays.

Rox had a bad feeling about what was coming.  Quentin circled both her and Thess and she felt the cool end of a hypospray on her neck.  She suddenly felt, different.

De La Croix:  ...and that's what I think about your hyposprays!  Like anything good has ever come out of one of those little colored tubes!    I think you need fifty cc's of mustache remover....right stat now!

Kessler: ::looking at Raga and tilting his head:: Seriously?

k’Oar-€l: Still, this one is relieved oneself to find that Nursing Rocks is being all right.

Rox: ::quisily::  I'm not sure how long that's going to last.  Could I see that Bucket?

Beck: Response

Raga: That’s fine. ::he said to Quentin:: I think it’s time I had an explanation from both of them. I don’t care about cursing as long as I get a sober answer. Besides, it’s been a while since we’ve had anyone Vailani the mess hall.

De La Croix:  Fine way to ruin another evening, Beckie.  I thought you'd be glad Roxanne and I had set our differences aside and found some common ground at last.

Rox leered at Beck and made a large "L" on her forehead using her fingers.

Kessler/Beck/Raga: Response

Kessler: When one resorts to childish acts of tantrum and fighting to resolve a difference, one does not get looked on favorably Doctor.

Rox held up a wagging finger at Jack, but her swirling stomach did not allow her to finish her thought.  She grabbed the bucket from the Antedian and stuck her face in it.  Several fritters and a good volume of champagne emerged.  She offered the bucket back to k’Oar-€l who immediately returned it to her.

k’Oar-€l:  Pleasing keep the bucket then. ::He held it out fully for her to take.:: It is this one’s understanding that in the future you may need one anyway.

Once more Rox made a deposit in the bucket which was very convenient.

k’Oar-€l: For when you deciding to kick it.

Rox: That may be sooner than I would have thought.  My head is pounding.

Beck/Raga: Response

De La Croix:  How dare you suggest that the Duchess of Saint Malo…

It seemed Thess too was having problems.

De La Croix:  Perhaps we should skip the remainder of the evening stroll and have the rest of this conversation some other time.  Or possibly never.  Never would be fine.  I find I've suddenly...taken a bit ill.

Kessler: Oh no Doctor. This conversation will happen. ::beat:: Like it or not you owe the Commander an explanation.

Rox:  Could you just put us in the quiet brig?  And please stop shouting.

Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response

As the other talked Jack moved closer to her.

Kessler: ::turning slightly to Rox and in a lower voice:: Krystal looks up to you and asks about you often. I would hope you will remember that you are an example to many.

Rox looked back at him and felt tears welling up in her eyes.  She hadn't thought about Jack's kid sister in a long time.  She wasn't even aware Krystal knew her, but disappointing others was at the top of the list of things she hated.

Rox: ::meekly:: I'm sorry.

Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response

Kessler: Commander, perhaps now is a good time to continue this conversation back on the ship. ::nodding to people walking nearby:: Out of the view of unwanted eyes.

Rox: Please?  You might want to beam me to my quarters if you don't want a mess in the brig.

She made a third deposit in the bucket.

Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response

Kessler: Aye sir.

She looked over at Thess and offered a smile.

Rox:  Dr. De La Croix I am very sorry for my behavior and I hope to ::burp::  do a better job in the future.

Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response

Rox massaged her temples.

Rox: ::annoyed:: I'm very sorry to have embarrassed the Ronin Commander.  If a formal apology would help I'll type one up as soon as my vision is less blurry.

Kessler/Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response

Rox: Ugh thank goodness.

She had begun to sweat in the humid air, that had not been humid earlier.  As light enveloped them she knew they would soon arrive back on the climate controlled Ronin.

((Transporter Room 3, Deck 9, USS Ronin))

Rox: ::flopping down on the transporter pad::  Home sweet home.

Kessler/Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response

Rox: ::smiling at Thess::  Let's do this again next week, but without the fight beforehand.

Kessler/Beck/Raga/De La Croix: Response
