((Secured Reflection Suite and Contemplation Cell, Harmony Shores Collaborative Resort, Logali IV))

Toryn could hear the voices of the two women that had been detained and as they neared the waiting room. To his surprise there was no shouting or shrieking about how terrible one or the other was, so he supposed that was something. Toryn reclined slightly in the couch he’d chosen to sit on as the door opened, his reflective glowing eyes stared right at Rox and Thessalonia a few seconds each before shifting back to the other, framed by his long black hair. A First Officerly look of disappointment stoically adorned his face. He said nothing, letting either of the two of them speak first should they wish.

Rox: ::loud whisper::  It's the fuzz!  Don't move they can't see us if we stay still.  ::giggle::

De La Croix: Response

Rox: ::giggling::  Oh this is nothing, wait until they see what I did to the ::cackling::  the bathroom in there.

Their Security Chief seemed to take issue with the statements from their wayward and heavily inebriated shipmates.

Kessler: That is an understatement, Doctor.

Toryn had only ever been around nurse Rox while she was sober, so this side of her was as interesting as it was obvious. Whatever had happened in that brig cell seemed to have been therapeutic enough to elicit questionable behaviour from the pair.

Beck: ::muttering under his breath:: This is gonna go well.

Toryn crossed his arms over his chest but remained silent for the moment. He made no overt gesture but heard Quentin’s muttered comment.

Kessler: Do you two realize how this looks on the Ronin? On the Captain?

Rox: About the same as the Chief's of security and Science crushing on the same woman? ::laughing again and looking at Thess::  I'm not even kidding, it's so weird.

That made the Al-Leyan’s brow raise in that Vulcanoid way. He couldn’t be entirely certain but he wondered if she was referring to individuals still on the ship or if it included some that weren’t. Kessler was too new as far as he understood for anyone to draw such a conclusion, so he mused whether she was referring to Kirsty or not. Maybe he was wrong.

De La Croix: Response

Raga: Hmm? Oh, I was merely pondering whether or not the Captain still has the get along bracelets he received from GottCo last leave. Or if perhaps a shirt that says ‘Our get along shirt’ can be replicated big enough for the two of you to wear side by side. ::he smiled mischievously and waved a hand:: I’m sure the Captain and I can come up with something later.

For his part Toryn watched both women closely. De La Croix was still relatively new to the crew, but Rox had been with them a long time and knew better. The only reason he wasn’t going full stern XO was because they were on leave.

Kessler: If the Captain does not have plans for them Commander, I have a few suggestions.

Toryn nodded towards Kessler in acknowledgement. While he was certain him and Karrod could come up with some creative punishments, suggestions were always welcome.

Rox wobbled to her feet which elicited a sigh from him. Al-Leyans did not consume anything that altered their mental state. Which is why he didn’t imbibe alcohol, though he understood many species had no such qualms.

Rox: I am soooooo sorry Commander.  It's really all Dr. Beck's fault.

That got another brow raise before he could inquire as to why Quentin seemed to take offence.

Beck: What the hell did I do? I haven't even been here!

Raga: I too would be curious how the good doctor is responsible for your poor choices.

De La Croix: Response

Kessler: ::with a firmer tone, eyeing both women:: Respectfully, I do not think the Commander cares who started this. The security logs of the incident captured everything.

Rox:  You should hide those logs.  It would be a ska ::giggle::  sca ::giggle:: scandal for my good friend the duchess.

His eyes narrowed slightly at Rox for a moment before they drifted over the ‘duchess’ beside her.

Beck: I shouldn't have come back. This is what this means. I shouldn't have come back.

That caught Toryn by surprise. As close knit of a crew as they were, or he thought they were, it was surprising that any member of the crew wanted another gone.

Raga: I find that more than a little disturbing and disappointing if that’s the case. Chief, I think it’s time we beamed these two back on board to let them sober up.

De La Croix: Response

Kessler: Aye sir. I can do that.

The wobbly pair leaned on one another and Toryn’s head shook slightly.

Rox:  ::whiny::  No, don't beam us back let's have a walk on the beach.

Raga: After all this you want me to simply let you roam around and cause further disturbances?

De La Croix: Response

Beck: ::sighing:: Some fresh air probably would do them some good. And I can call up to the ship to have them send down a hypo to sober these two up just a little. Some Purge will do nicely, though they'll have a helluva hangover to deal with.

Rox: ::looking with alarm at Beck::  No sir, you stay away from her.  We're done with mustaches.

For his part Quentin seemed to be understandably frustrated with the situation. As department Chief and having been one himself in years past, he could relate. Everyone in your department was your responsibility and their actions reflected on the head of the department. Good and bad.

Beck: Let's just. ::indicating the door:: Yeah?

The Al-Leyan uncrossed his arms and rose to his feet slowly. He took a moment to smooth out his uniform, since he hadn’t yet changed into his civvies, and nodded.

Raga: Very well, Doctor. I defer to your medical opinion. ::to Kessler:: Chief, I leave it up to you if you’d like to accompany us. I don’t want to keep you from enjoying your leave, or tending to your duties if you so choose.

Kessler/De La Croix: Response

He noticed the shoulder shrug from Quentin and canted his own head slightly while he exhaled a bit longer than needed. Toryn wasn’t even going to ask why Rox had food in her hair.

Rox: How'd that get in there?

Beck: ::shaking his head:: Feels like junior year at Starfleet Medical all over again.

Raga: Reminds me of the six months I spent in Marine training. The quantity of alcohol that could be imbibed was practically a statistical wonder.

Kessler/De La Croix: Response

Rox began laughing and pointed at Thess with a smile.

Rox:  That's right you did!  Some arm you have.

Toryn walked pace close to the drunken women while Quentin tapped his comm badge.

Beck: =/\= Beck to Sickbay. I need you to send down a medical kit with two doses of Purge and something for a hangover. =/\=

There was a momentary pause before a soft, tentative voice responded.

Nurse: =/\= Y–es, Doctor. I'll put that together for you now. =/\=

Toryn glanced at Quentin when the comm line closed and nodded. It was a good call. He looked back as the others conversed.

Kessler/Rox/De La Croix: Response

Beck: ::with a snort:: I always wondered how rumors got started around here, now I know. ::to Rox:: It's always you. Why are you so obsessed with me?

Raga: I’m no counselor but I would imagine either loathing or infatuation.

Kessler/Rox/De La Croix: Response

The whine of a transport in progress caught his attention and he turned his head slightly at the sound. He paused beside Quentin while the physician picked up the medkit.

Beck: Let's let them walk it off just a little before I apply the Purge. They're gonna start cursing once the dehydration sets in.

Raga: Well, fortunately for them harsh language isn’t a punishable offense as long as it’s not insubordinate.

Toryn nodded to Quentin and watched the women for a moment before resuming their escort of the pair. It had been a long time since Toryn had to consider a serious reprimand on a subordinate. It was not something he ever cared for, but he’d had to bestow a few dressing downs in his time as department head or second officer before coming to the Ronin.

Kessler/Rox/De La Croix/Beck: Response

Raga: Miss Queen. ::his timbre was slightly deeper than normal:: I think you’ve had enough. ::there was the briefest of pauses:: I expected better from you. ::to Quentin:: I think it’s time for those hyposprays.

He pinched the bridge of his nose slightly and let out another, albeit curt, exhale before he met her and De La Croix’s gazes again.

Kessler/Rox/De La Croix/Beck: Response

Raga: That’s fine. ::he said to Quentin:: I think it’s time I had an explanation from both of them. I don’t care about cursing as long as I get a sober answer. Besides, it’s been a while since we’ve had anyone Vailani the mess hall.

Kessler/Rox/De La Croix/Beck: Response
