((Sickbay, Deck 10, USS Ronin - in orbit of Gas Giant A, Ross 580 System))
Again she watched him bound off the biobed and run out of the room, which elicited an annoyed growl from the Antosian.
Avae: That’s it. From now on, when he’s in Sickbay we’re using restraining fields. I don’t care if he comes in for a splinter in his pinkie. That’s twice he’s gone off like that without being cleared.
De La Croix: You come back here right this instant....oh what's the use? It's like the people on this ship enjoy being medical oddities.
Rox: Boy he's spry for a green guy.
Avae: I’m hoping that whatever the rest of the crew is doing about that out of control whatever it is, will sort out the aging issues among our patients. I don’t think any of us want to have to deal with a hormonal helmsman. And I don’t think they allow blankets on the bridge.
She giggled slightly. But it was Thess who practically guffawed which made Wyla smile brightly. It was nice to see she wasn’t entirely hopeless.
De La Croix: ...and those little green cheeks....I can't...oh...oh I can't remember the last time I laughed like that. Thank you Nurse...both of you. You've done...adequate work today.
Rox: Wow. Never thought I'd be good enough to land in adequate strumpet territory.
Avae: How are the others?
She gestured to Kangar and by proximity the two others that she believed still stood outside Sickbay in a private conversation. She noticed a medical alert that had some of their people heading to a Transporter Room on Deck Six. Probably having to do with that security alert about an intruder on board.
De la Croix: Most are resting...some more comfortably than others. I believe our efforts have been fruitful...assuming the ship survives the next few hours, these people should as well.
Rox: Some of them are having significant pain. Conventional analgesics are not helping in all cases.
She saw Rox go off to help the Bajorna.
Rox: Sir. My name is Roxanne, are you alright.
Kangar: Response
Avae: I think we might be having more guests soon.
De la Croix: Not here we won't, we won't be able to free up any of theses beds for at least an hour. Advise them to head to ward C and I'll meet them there...I think I can leave you two in charge of this lot...and if that plucky little Jem'Hadar ever wanders back in do make sure to put a bowl and a treat out for them.
Wyla shook her head, whatever temporarily redeeming quality there was in seeing Thess laugh it was out the airlock with the denigrating comment about the Jem’hadar.
Rox: Looks like you decided to have all your X-rays all at once. Hold on.
She walked over to see if Rox needed anything.
Avae: You’re in good hands, sir. Don’t worry.
Kangar: Response
Rox: ::pressing the hypo to Kangar's neck:: This will help and make you more comfortable.
Avae: We’re about to have more from the surface. We’re sending them to Ward C, so I’m heading over there. High possibility of Tholian inflicted wounds so I’ll let you know. How is he?
Kangar: Response
Rox: I'm still assessing. Radiation exposure, obviously, but there may be something else going on.
Avae: Considering we’ve seen signs of de-ageing in a number of individuals already it’s possible.
Kangar/Rox: Response
Avae: Considering at least two of the people we rescued are needing full transfusions I’ll be glad when we're away from the radiation. Anyways, let me know if you need anything, Rox.
Kangar/Rox: Response
With that Wyla quickly left the room and headed for Ward C. She knew Jenta had been on the surface and if anyone was going to end up in a tussle with the Tholians it would be her, or the other members of Security who went down. No matter who, they’d definitely need medical attention.
