(OOC: I didn't add any new tags to this scene since I feel it's close to closing. Happy to respond to any new ones that pop up)

((Duplicate Sickbay, The Reef))

Cerisor: Oh. It's not us, nor Commander Raga, or even Captain Niac you need to worry about. We're the nice ones. If Nurse Rox or Dr. De La Croix find out you've been skipping out on your checkups, it'll be more than a chewing out. I suspect you'll have to be quite creative to avoid their ire. Sprained neck, and a hairline fracture of the clavicle. I'm impressed you're up and walking around, Ensign. You must be pretty tough.

As he worked past the injured spot, Dr. Shortrith followed behind with protoplaster to patch up the fracture.

Genestra: Tough isn't a term I'd use, but I will definitely take it today. ::letting out a slight chuckle::

Shortrith: As long as you're alive, we should be able to help you out.

Cerisor: I'm not seeing any other injuries on you, Ensign.

Genestra: So, as far as duty goes...I'm cleared, right?

The Klingon CMO looked at him, and Rylar realized they were deferring to him on the subject. He couldn't help but feel he was still be evaluated.

Cerisor: As long as you're not going to get into any fist fights or anything, I'd say you're cleared for duty. However, comm us halfway through your shift with a status update, or any time if something changes or you start feeling worse. Your clavicle is repaired but the regenerated bone still needs time to set, so be careful.

Shortrith: Medically? Yes. But speaking from a counsellor's perspective, there's one more thin.

Genestra: Right now, I feel like I've been sidelined long enough. I'd agree to hourly check-ins at this point just to get cleared for duty.

Shortrith: I'm going to need to schedule you in for a counselling session with me at some point.

Rylar took a step back, allowing Dr. Shortrith to address the Ensign without an extra body in the way.

Shortrith: I'd suggest doing it while I've got you, but I would be breaking patient confidentiality ethics with there being people in the room.

Genestra: I have a list of things to do at the moment, so if I'm cleared medically...perhaps we can do counseling another time?

Shortrith: Ideally, some time within the next few days.

Cerisor: I suggest you do it as soon as you can, Genestra. The faster you deal with it, the easier it'll be in the long run.

Genestra: I'm sure I'll have more time then.

Shortrith: Any questions for us while you're here?

Cerisor: Yes, we're happy to answer anything you might be wondering.

Genestra: I think I'm all set. ::sliding off the biobed:: Thank you both again. ::bowing slightly::

Cerisor: Very well, Ensign. You're officially cleared for duty now. Please let us know if your condition gets worse.

Shortrith: Response

Genestra: Ensign Cerisor, it was good to meet you.

Cerisor: You as well, Genestra.

Genestra:::turning back to the Klingon officer:: Lieutenant, it was a pleasure.

Shortrith: Response

Genestra: I'll be in touch for that appointment.

Shortrith: Response

The Ensign nodded and slipped out of the sickbay. The doctors watched his departure and looked to each other. Rylar gave a little smile to the Klingon CMO, giving a fake exasperated sigh.

Cerisor: Hopefully we don't have to hunt him down for that appointment.

Shortrith: Response
