((Celestial Tides Resort, Lolagi IV))

As Rox materialized she immediately realized the field jacket was unnecessary.  The air was warm and humid.  Marty had picked one of the costal resorts.  They were staring off across a beach as the last of the Lolagi sun dipped below the horizon.  Just above the fading light were already a dozen or so twinkling lights.  Rox turned and behind them, where the sky was already nearly black a myriad of stars shone down.

Rox:  Well this is nice.  Very nice.  Where exactly are we?

Tucker: We are at the Celestial Tides Sanctuary, where there's a variety of activities like stargazing and more, all from our private bungalow. We also have the special observation package, which includes :: Marty turns to point out the telescope:: a state-of-the-art telescope for a closer view, among other features.

Rox: Very nice?  Not to be that girls, but is dinner part of our plans?

Tucker: Yes, we need to get dressed. It’s Celestial Themed Fine Dining. So we need to change into something a bit more formal. The name of the place is L'Éclat d'Étoile, which translates to star burst. It has one of the finest Chefs in the quadrant.

Rox's eyebrows rose.  Marty was really going all out, even after their first date had been so terrific.  Yes there had been the miss on their little expedition down to the farm, but that had been completely Raga and Niac's faults.  Rox couldn't help but wonder if Marty realized Queen was just her last name, not an actual title.

He grabbed her hand and they were soon traveling down a corridor.  Given the heaviness of the field jacket, Rox was beginning to glow, and not in a good way.  By the time they reached the room her hair felt a bit damp.  It was all worth it however, due to the sheer grandness of the space Marty had secured.   It was huge, perhaps even larger than one of the Ronin's cargo bayes.  There were chairs, couches, a fireplace, a desk, a large table and that was just one of rooms.  The other had a single, immense bed that had an ornate wooden headboard. At first Rox could not quiet grasp in, but finally realized it was likely a star chart indicating what could be seen in the sky above the room's glass ceiling.  She noted it was a single bed.

Rox:  ::blow away:: Marty ::beat::  This is am-azing. ::slowly walking around the space::  Did you have to kill anyone to get this space? ::waving her hand::  Don't tell me.  If you did it was totally worth it.

Tucker: I was hoping you would like it. There were several different suites, but this one I sorta fell in love with. They also have a holodeck, which I heard some of the programs are amazing.

Rox shifted out of her coat and through her duffle down. Marty was in the bathroom and had pulled out the most impressive suit she'd ever seen.  She'd thrown in one of her dresses, but she couldn't quite remember which one.

Rox: Wow.  You'll look great in that suit.  When do we need to be at Che di whatever? I may need to change clothes.

She was such an idiot, but Marty did not seem to mind.  He smiled, walked over, and gave her a light kiss on the forehead.

Tucker: Our reservation is for 1900 hours, and by the looks of it we have an hour to get ready. Will that be enough time?

Rox stood on her toes and gave Marty a gently kiss on the lips, allowing her lips to gently brush his afterward.

Rox:  I'll have to make it work, but I'll need a head start.

Marty held up his hands.

Tucker  Oh, of course, ladies first. ::he flashed a smile::

Rox: Let me just hop in the shower.

((L'Éclat d'Étoile, matière de station))

To his great credit, Marty had not follow her into the shower.  She might not of minded, but it was a reminder to her of what a classy guy he was and that she needed to up her game.  Even when she came out sporting only a towel to grab clothes, he had said nothing, but she was pretty sure his eyes had grown 3 sizes.  They'd not shrunk when she'd come out in a strapless red dress that cascaded down her with gently folds and ripples.

The restaurant reminded her of Sickbay on a busy day.  People running this way and that with trays, glasses and other accoutrements.  The great dome over the dining space revealed that night had fallen and the sky above was filled with twinkling stars.  The dome must have magnified the stars somewhat as there were red, blue, white and yellow points of light.  Near the bottom of the dome, the windows to the surface revealed the biological glow of green, blue, yellow and orange plants.  Rox imagined their biochemistry would be most interesting.

Tucker: Table for two, 1900 hours.

Rox had barely noticed that had moved to the host station.

Matirere De: Ah, yes, Mister Tucker and Miss Queen, we’ve been expecting you. If you follow her,:: he nodded at a Bolian waitress in a tuxedo top and skirt:: she’d get you settled in for the evening.

Rox: This is quite a place.  You spoil me too much, it's gonna go to my hea..

Marty's hand wrapped around hers and they traveled across the gallery of patrons to the table they had secured.  Both of them could sit side by side and enjoy the view of the stars above them.  She raised a menu, but  Marty nudged her, encouraging her to look up once more.

Tucker: Amazing.. ::he squeezed her hand::

Rox: ::resting her head on his shoulder::  It is really.  ::squeezing his hand::  Thank you for all of this.

Tucker: Response

Rox: ::looking at him::  Look I want you to know that I fully plan to enjoy all of this. ::gesturing around the room::   But at the same time if we had to have peanut butter sandwiches and Kool-Aid in a Jefferies tube, I'd still be happy to be there, with you.

Tucker: Response

The Bolian woman returned to take their order.  Was overcome by the list of options, but settled on Ramufta and a Ceasar salad with a Stardrifter.  While they waited they gazed at the stars once more.

Rox: When I was a little girl they had these rolling blackouts for a while.  All the city light would go out and I could sit on my bed and look up at space from my window.  Probably what made me want to travel.

Tucker:  Response

Rox:  It was nice. ::beat::  Until the lady below us started yelling at her cats. ::nodding her head side to side:: Then the guy across the street would start swearing at her.

Tucker:  Response

Rox:  ::chuckling:: I do sort of miss Edith. I knew all her cats by name and sometimes I'd recite them to help me get to sleep.

Tucker: Response
