Commander V'Len Kel - Into the Unknown

V'Len was heading to the bridge for his stint on watch.  He'd been running Gamma shift, which for the most part, had consisted of him sitting on the bridge reading reports, astrophysics studies and occasionally dealing with discipline.  On this particular evening he'd planned to reach out to the Farm to see how Millie was faring.  

Part way to the bridge, there had been an announcement for all crew to return to the Ronin for departure.  Arriving on the Bridge, V'Len found Toryn already there.

Raga: Good to see you got some sun, Commander. At least someone got to enjoy a party this leave.

V'Len gave Toryn a friendly smile.

Kel:  I' m sorry all you got was disciplinary problems from Sickbay.  :: walking over to where Raga stood::  Where are we heading in such a hurry?

Anyone: Response

Raga: Not sure, but it’s need to know. The Captain’s going to fill us in once everyone’s on board and we’re underway. Same for the usual ceremony. We’re doing it en route. A bit unusual for us barring distress calls, so whatever it is Starfleet Command has us doing it must be urgent. And the secrecy suggests SFI is in the loop.

That did not bode well.  Things in the Alpha Isles tended to be crisis enough let alone a need to know crisis.  

Kel: ::unenthusiastic::  Great. ::pause::  Pity for the crew.  I had hoped to see some of them awarded for their performance on the Ross-580 disaster.

Anyone: Response

V'Len went to glance over Nicolau's shoulder.  

Kel:  Where are we headed?

Raga/Nicolau/Any: Response

Kel: ::shrugging his shoulders::  Not a vessel I'm familiar with.  

Raga/Nicolau/Any: Response

V'Len moved to one of the peripheral LCARS stations.  

Kel:  Looks like we've got about 80% of the crew back aboard.  Still missing Commander Tucker.
