Ensign Jovan Genestra - The Complex Layout of the Complex

The daunting list of tasks Jovan had to complete was moving along nicely.  Thus far he had the chance to meet the XO and a couple of doctors. Jovan found himself feeling more comfortable with each passing moment.  Any reason the man had to be nervous was slowly fading away. One thing that Rylar said that stuck with him was that the Ronin was much smaller than San Francisco. In close proximity he was bound to make lasting relationships with those he served with.

Glancing over the layout on his PADD along the way, he was checking out details on the Ronin's security and tactical facilities. While he was on Deck 11, he made a mental note to check out the hydroponics bay. Jovan had no interest in actually working in one, but he did enjoy the literal fruits of the labor from those that did. The other location on Deck 11 that piqued his interest was the officer's mess hall. For some reason he found himself starving. Unless there were pressing issues, he would definitely check that out. Walking through the Security Complex, he was taking it all in.  As he passed the Armory he was too focused on the door and accidently bumped into someone.

Genestra: Forgive my clumsiness. ::helping steady them:: Are you okay?

Genestra: Ensign Jovan Genestra. Long story short, I'm new to the frey. I just wanted to take a look around and dive in where I'm needed.

In the past, Jovan was reluctant to really get to know many people. To him, they were relationships that complicated his life. He felt as if they came with too many expectations. You had to keep in contact, invest time into making sure that those relationships were maintained. It wasn't an easy task to take care of. Because of it, he barely maintained contact with his parents. It was almost like he could be anyone's friend as long as they were close. Distance caused him to be more of an 'out of sight out of mind' sort of friend. Now he was in a place where he could create new relationships.  He hoped that he could find some to last no matter what the distance, but it was a part of himself he was working on.

Genestra: Is there anything you need from me? I know we are short some key staff in the department.
