((Compartment 0311, Deck 4, USS Ronin))
Rox was carefully checking to make sure she had everything she needed. Really there was no way to know because Marty hadn't told him anything. Thess had suggested some boots, leggings, a blazer and a riding crop, but it would be a cold day in hell when Rox ended on a horse or any other 4 legged creature. Now she was trying to figure out where Marty might be taking them. Did she need long sleeves? Short sleeves? A parka?
Tucker: =/\= Tucker to Rox, you packed yet? =/\=
Rox: =/\= I'm workin' on it. Do you want me there or do you want me there looking like a human being. =/\=
Tucker: =/\= Okay, okay, I’ll try not to rush greatness, just get the cute butt into gear. Transporter room four, meet me there in say, 10 minutes. Tucker out. =/\=
Rox turned to try to glance around at her rear. She'd have to take his word for it. She began grabbing clothes and stuffing them into her duffle bag. She then tossed a smattering of other items in the bag. Now what was she forgetting? Pants!. She had a t-shirt on, it was gray and said "pretty enough to stop your heart, skilled enough to restart it". It was her second favorite t-shirt. Her favorite said "Don't mess with me, I get paid to stab people with sharp objects". She had not yet rolled out her "have you met my friend foley" for Marty.
Rox hopped around pulling on her jeans, threw on a 2280's style field jacket and then grabbed her bag and rushed out the door. She would beat Marty to the transporter room.
((Transporter Room 4, Deck 9, USS Ronin))
She had not beaten Marty to the transporter room. He was already there and Rox was not sure if he was mildly irritated.
Tucker: You ready? I haven’t told you the destination cause I want it to be a surprise. I think you’re going to really like it.
Rox: I hope it's somewhere cool. I'm sweating in this field jacket.
She gave him a light kiss on the cheek and moved onto the transporter padd.
Rox: Alright, I'm all yours for the next 100 hours.
Tucker: Response
The pair was soon engulfed in the white light of the transporter beam.
((Celestial Tides Resort, Lolagi IV))
As Rox materialized she immediately realized the field jacket was unnecessary. The air was warm and humid. Marty had picked one of the costal resorts. They were staring off across a beach as the last of the Lolagi sun dipped below the horizon. Just above the fading light were already a dozen or so twinkling lights. Rox turned and behind them, where the sky was already nearly black a myriad of stars shone down.
Rox: Well this is nice. Very nice. Where exactly are we?
Tucker: Response
Rox: Very nice? Not to be that girls, but is dinner part of our plans?
Tucker: Response
