((Deck 1, Bridge, USS Compass Rose))

Kel: =/\= Kel to Syrex.  Are you still headed for the bridge? =/\=

Syrex: =/\= Aye, Commander. We are in the turbolift now =/\=

Kel: =/\= Be advised, the internal sensors are showing a space we can't scan in the conference room off the bridge.  Could be nothing but use caution.  I'm going to move to the outrigger to check some similar spots  there.

Syrex: =/\= Acknowledged, we’ll check it out. =/\=

Deacon: Captain? Captain Holley? This Lieutenant Frost, we’re here to assist you. Can you give me an idea of how you are so that you can be treated accordingly?

Syrex: Treated accordingly? We have one patient, Lieutenant. We don’t need to triage this.

Deke turned his head to eye the Lieutenant. He wanted to ask what her major malfunction was, but there wasn’t time in the day to hear that.

Alyndra softened her tone as she looked reassuringly towards Captain Holley.

Syrex: How are you, Captain? Are you injured? Do you need anything? I’m Alyndra, we spoke on the comm, and my team, along with myself. We’re here to help. However we can.

Deke tried to ignore the snarky remarks from the peanut gallery. He and Kessler were going to have to talk about the debriefing. He was following protocol, and if she didn’t like it, she could airlock herself or apologize. He did not appreciate the way she was talking down to him. Not to mention she’d been giving him the eye for a while now. It was starting to wear on his nerves.

No matter his feelings on the subject, he had to keep it as professional as possible. Because he was just one comment away from letting the Lieutenant know that he was not to be talked down to. Just because he was a security officer didn’t give her the go-ahead to be a pain in the rumpus.

Deacon: under his breath:: It’s called protocol. ::louder:: I’ll take a look around, don’t need any surprises.

With that, Deke took a stroll around the bridge.

Om-Zora/Holley: Response

Syrex: Who’s your friend?

The bridge was a mess, wires strewn everywhere, consoles that looked like they were in the middle of being replaced, significant gaps where the LCARS should be; suffice it to say, the bridge was an absolute disaster. He found the security station and sat down, looking at the LCARS in front of him. Most of the console was intact and working.

Deacon: Check it out, the security station is still working, it’s locked down at the moment, but that shouldn’t take but a couple of minutes to break the lock from there, we should be able to get a count of everyone on board, and a manifest of life pods that are automatically generated when a pod is launched. It’s to help with Search and Rescue.

Om-Zora/Holley: Response

While the Lieutenant worked on Holley to get her to open up, Deacon, on the other hand, was finally getting himself into the ship's computer, hoping ot be able to track down anyone else that’s still on board.

Syrex: Your first name is Georgia, right? May I call you Georgia? I call my captain Karrod, but only because he’s basically my uncle.

Deacon: I’m starting to get readings from around the ship. From what I can tell, there are still about forty people on board. Every escape pod has been jettisoned, and there are only a couple of shuttles left in the shuttle bay. Any particular place you’d like to start?

Syrex/Om-Zora/Holley: Response

Deke nodded and went back to work. If he could try to get shipboard communications back online, they could send whoever is left to an empty shuttle bay for evacuation. Not that there were a lot of shuttles left, they could also get some help from the Ronin.

Deacon: I’m working on getting ship-wide comm’s up and running. Internal sensors are iffy at best,

Syrex/Om-Zora/Holley: Response

Deke was getting that itchy feeling in the back of his head that told him Lieutenant Syrex didn’t particularly care for him, and to be honest, it was like water off a duck's back. She had a job, and he had job. He turned his chair at the security station to face Syrex.

Deacon: What’s the play, Lieutenant?
