Niac:  Gentlemen, it has been an hon...

Time slowed as the weapon discharged, a furious bolt of corrupted energy reaching towards them like a great hand.  A vast shimmering blue bulk filled the viewscreen as the ship was grabbed by an invisible force and yanked clear, sending him sprawling to the deck as the world outside went mad.  He heard bodies hitting the deck behind him as the fissure came into view, Narhelion surging towards it and towing them along for the ride.

Kessler: Narhelion to the rescue! fly baby, fly.

O’Connor: What the? ::understanding that they were getting taken along with Narhelion.:: I can’t make sense out of these readings. We are just along for the ride.

Groaning as he rolled to his side and fighting back towards the Chair Karrod could feel the ship thrumming around him, bits of shattered console and cordry rocks sliding across the deck as it vibrated faster and faster.

Niac: Emergency...stabilization...

Nakada: :: dumbly :: We’re moving really fast.

Kessler: ::getting fully seated and tapping at his console:: Sir, Narhelions speed is too great for the Alliance. They can't keep up.

The viewscreen, what was left of it, shifted to distortion filled an aft view.  The Alliance Leviathan was falling fast astern, it's terrible weapon out of position for another shot.  He glanced around the bridge, felt the damage they'd suffered through the arms of the chair and wondered how much of the impact Narhelion had taken on their behalf.

Nakada: Out of range for … well, anything in four seconds.

O’Connor: We’re still accelerating as well.

The vibration smoothed out as they slowly rotated in Narhelion's steady grip, rushing towards the subspace fissure as the skin of the great creature glowed with an intense light from within.

Niac: This is going to make for one hell of a log entry.

Kessler: Looks like we're headed wherever Narhelion is going.

O’Connor: Home? Do you think Narhelion might be going home?

The thought put a smile on his face and he felt an odd sense of peaceful contentment settling over him.

Niac: If that's the case we might want to put on our dress uniforms, gentlemen.  ::He smiled as the viewscreen filled with light::  We'll want to make a good first impression.

Nakada: :: rhetorically, in desperate need of medical attention :: The adventures never end, do they?

Kessler: ::turning back to the view screen:: My guess. Somewhere no one in Starfleet has been before.

O’Connor: Well, then I guess let’s go boldly.

A vast pulse of coherent energy lanced into the fissure from Narhelions bow and Karrod's last sight before the sensors overloaded was a confusing one.  His eyebrows rose in surprise as they dove into the fissure.

Niac:  There be whales here?!

[End Mission for Niac!]
