((Mushashi Lounge, Mission Pod Level B, USS Ronin))
Xira's muscles were tense. Her leg bounced under the table, where she sat drinking her tea with a tight grip.
She hoped T'Alia would come. She'd come to find a friend in the Vulcan/Bajoran hybrid, and enjoyed her company.
Fiddling at her earring, Xira glanced out the nearest viewport. oO What was that last mission? Oo
She'd heard that an alternate version of the Captain and First Officer had exploded, and it left an intense mark on the other crew.
Truth be told, Xira did cry when she heard the news. However, she hadn't cried as much as when she lost the crew.
oO Did I end up with a tolerance to grief? Oo
Truth be told, she didn't know.
The movement in the left of her peripheral vision snapped her out of her reverie. It was T'Alia.
Akani: Hi.
Dohna: Good morning.
Xira took a second to sip her tea before speaking up.
Akani: How are you?
Dohna: ::taking a quick sip:: I'm alright. Trying to get into the swing of things here on the Ronin. How are you?
Akani: I'm okay… Slowly getting over grief of what happened on the Rose, and I think it's helped a bit with what happened with the alternate versions of Niac and Raga.
Dohna: ::looking down at her tea:: I'm not even sure it registered, what happened to Niac and Raga. I hardly know them. ::pausing:: I still say the prayer before my duranja each day, for the crew of the rose. I seem to be ::beat:: stuck.
Akani: ::thoughtfully:: I still do the prayers too. I think the only reason I felt a bit sad was because I had a nice experience when Niac visited me on the Blackheart. I didn't know much about Raga… the whole situation reminded me of the Rose crew.
Xira sighed, watching T'Alia.
Dohna: Perhaps a holographic visit to the Monastery of the Kai would help.
Akani: I figure it would. It means a lot to both of us, our religion, so it would.
She paused mid-tea-sip, glancing at her friend once again.
Akani: Are there any holy sites for Vulcans?
Dohna: Vulcan holy sites are very boring. I went to P'Jem once. ::smiling mischievously:: we had to leave because I couldn't sit still.
Xira let out a little giggle at that.
Akani: Hopefully the Bajoran sites are more interesting.
Dohna: Response
Akani: Where are the holodecks on the Ronin, if you know?
Dohna: Response
Akani: You made a good point with the Monastery visit and I was just wondering if you knew where we'd go if we wanted to go.
Dohna: Response
