((Counselling Suites, Deck 10, USS Ronin))
Renaie's eyes scanned the files of their patients, making note of any particular flags or concerns that existed in each file. It was, after all, their job to ensure the mental wellbeing of the Ronin crew, and after how traumatic the last mission was… they certainly knew that they couldn't do nothing.
The counselling sessions had already been scheduled, and Renaie's plans were busy. They'd hoped that they'd be able to both conduct counselling sessions and spare time for themself.
That was a balancing act in and of itself.
The doorchime echoed through Renaie's office, and they glanced up to their door.
Shortrith: Come in!
Renaie had to double take for a second as an Aurelian walked in. oO No… these feathers are yellow. Laef'eah's are green. Oo
A beat of silence occured as Renaie's eyes flickered to the photos over on their desk, of their life on Melbourne and the Astraeus.
oO Stars, I miss my best friend. Oo
Om-Zora: Response
Shortrith: Ah, Lieutenant JG Om-Zora. Come on in, take a seat, make yourself as comfortable as you can get. Could I get you anything to drink? Water, coffee, tea?
oO Come on, try to be supportive… You did this in the Academy. You know what you're doing. Oo
Om-Zora: Response
Shortrith: As you're my first client, and this is my first session with you, would you care to tell me a bit about yourself?
Om-Zora: Response
Shortrith: Start wherever you're comfortable, I suppose. This session's about you for a reason.
Om-Zora: Response
