The throuple was still trying to determine their next move—everything from living arrangements to jobs that need to be done. The bracelets were causing their intended damage. And put a crimp in everyone's shore leave.

Tucker: What, do you have in mind?

O’Connor: Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock.

Marty watched as Tess tried to put it all together.

Tucker: Are you sure about that? Honestly, it’s either yours or mine. ::looking at Tess:: Sorry, but your quarters are built for two max.

Evinrude: That they are, sir.

O’Connor: Response

Tucker:  ::looking at O’Connor:: You’re quarters are on deck seven, and I’m on fourteen. Mine is closer to the Brew Continuum, about four doors down. How about you, O’Connor?

O’Connor: Response

Marty shifted in place.

Tucker: I really don’t care at this point, either yours or mine. Your call, Mr. O’Connor.

With his arms across his chest, he was making it known he wasn’t happy, and he was definitely annoyed at the whole situation. If he could have punched himself in the brain, he would have by now. It was stupid all around. His first mission as a team leader got Tzim Shah captured by Emzai’s goons.

He turned to look at Tess who frowned and put a hand on Marty’s shoulder.

Evinrude: Sir. You're a department head, you likely have the largest quarters...but also, you've been inconvenienced the most here. If it would make things easier on you, let's crash at your place, yeah?

O'Connor: Response

Tucker: ::smiling:: Yes, let's use my place. I can cook us up a dinner, and we can get our schedules worked out, and go from there. I still say we visit The Farm, we’ll just have to act casual, cause that works right?

Evinrude: I'll just need to swing by mine to grab a few things. ::He smiled, and shrugged in a carefree gesture.:: This will be...fun! Like camping.

Marty ran a hand over a frustrated face. Yeah, just like camping. At this point, he wanted to beg the Captain to let them off the hook. Though to be honest, it hadn’t even been a day yet with the damn things on, but to Marty it felt like a month of decarbonizing the plasma conduits.

(( Hallway Outside Tess Evinrude's Quarters, Deck 3, USS Ronin))

They made it to Tess’s quarters on deck three, and the Lieutenant started to gather his stuff. He kept Marty and Ian in the hall, but his room, being what it was, wasn’t setting off the alarms…yet.

Evinrude: Can you carry this?

Marty could have sworn he heard excitement in Evinrude’s voice, and the look on his face confirmed Marty’s suspicions. At least they were going to hold up in his quarters so that he could sleep in his own bed during this debacle. Evinrude, for his part, was taking it in stride. Tess poked his head out of the open doorway and deposited a duffel into the hall.

Marty looked down at the duffel, shrugged, and picked it up, for which he almost paid a price. The thing was heavier than a Ferengi on a good day.

Tucker: Is there a dead body in this thing, Tess?

He managed to sling the bag over his shoulder, though it now made him lean to one side. Hopefully, he didn’t want to bring his bed, or something similar. Marty’s quarters were big, but not that big. Being on the outer ‘ring’ of the ship, it was slightly bigger than your average senior officer's quarters. But it was nothing like the Captain’s or even the XOs' cabins.

O'Connor: Response

Every time Evinrude went back into his quarters, he came out with more stuff. If he kept going, they were going to have to drag half his things across the ship.

Evinrude: Aaaand can you carry this?

This time, it was a long, flat, black rectangular case. Marty looked at O’Connor and gave him the “don’t look at me” look. He was already carrying a dead body in a duffel bag.

Tucker: Tell me you’re done, Tess. This isn’t a permanent move. You don’t have any animals, do you?

He didn’t mind pets; he had a cat that was back at that vineyard on Earth. He thought about bringing his partner in crime, but it seemed like torture bringing his cat aboard the Ronin.

O'Connor: Response

Evinrude: Sorry, sir. ::He said from inside, with a laugh.:: It's because I need to carry...this.

When he did come back out, he had in his arms what appeared to be cordwood, wrapped in leaves of some kind. Marty had no idea what was going on at this point.

Tucker: Please tell me this is it. I have space, but let's be real here. I honestly don’t think we’ll have to shackle up for too long. We have jobs to do in separate parts of the ship. We’ll give it a couple of days, and I suggest we approach the Captain. Thoughts?

Evinrude/O'Connor: Response

Marty shrugged as they headed towards the turbolift once again, this time to O’Connor’s slice of the Ronin. Then, to move them into his place, he hadn’t had a roommate since he and Beck shared quarters, which was actually Marty’s second roommate; his first was Mavrick, but he wasn’t around long.

Tucker: Okay, so we grab O’Connor’s stuff, move ya both into my place, and then get a good action plan going, like I said, digital leashes or not, I want on the surface of the planet. I want some sun and some drinks, and if I have to do it with you two, so be it.

Evinrude/O'Connor: Response

((Deck 7, Ian O’Connor’s Quarters, USS Ronin))

Tess and Marty stood outside Ian’s quarters while he went inside to gather some of his belongings, hoping he didn’t have a large pile like Evinrude. Marty heard a noise and then realized it was his stomach. He hadn’t had anything substantial to eat since the everything bagel he grabbed at the Brew Continuum on his way to his office, before he got called to the boss's office.

Tucker: ::to Ian:: Hey, let's wrap this up, I need to eat.

Evinrude/O'Connor: Response
