((Runabout Zambezi, Main Shuttlebay, USS Ronin))
O’Connor: Ok guys, what do our scans show? Can we pinpoint any life readings?
Shortrith: I can find some from over ::points to the north-west of where they're standing:: that way. There's nothing specific.
T’Fearne: This dome appears to be where most of the personnel evacuated from the damaged one. We still don’t know if anyone survived over there or requires aid. Wren, what is your range? Can you pick up anything from this dome or the damaged one?
Wren: ::smacking her Tricorder a bit:: I'm picking up life readings from this dome, but I think the radiation might be affecting our equipment. I can't get anything solid, and the readings I am getting aren't sticking around long enough for me to notate them.
O’Connor: Well if that’s the best info we’ve got…we go with it. Let’s head out.
Renaie followed the others out.
Shortrith: Commander, I'm noticing a concerning wave of… something… coming from the south-east.
T’Fearne: That's also the direction of the damaged dome.
oO That makes a lot of sense. Oo
Wren: I'm getting something to, but nothing consistent.
T’Fearne: Looks like radiation is flaring erratically from it.
O'Connor: Response
Shortrith: That's what I mean, it's only showing up in some spaces.
T’Fearne: That suggests spatial instability…or some sort of temporal shear. Recommend proceeding with extreme caution.
Shortrith: Noted.
O'Connor: Response
T’Fearne: That’s…looks a lot worse than the scans suggested. Any lifesigns registering in there?
Renaie frowned, scanning with their tricorder once more.
Shortrith: Only a few, by the looks of it. I can't tell their species.
O'Connor: Response
Wren: ::frowning:: That doesn't sound good…I'll pull up a blueprint, and I'm highlighting where the most life signs seem to be congregated
T’Fearne: That plume looks like it’s venting from something at the centre of the dome. Can you tell if the structure is even sound anymore?
Wren: it's impossible to tell, all the vented radiation is scrambling the results. The only way to know for sure would be to get closer.
Shortrith: We're all right for EV suits, yeah? And innoculation boosters?
O'Connor/T’Fearne: Response
Wren: The life signs seem close to that central structure, which is lucky, it should make moving them to triage easier.
Shortrith: Noted. I'm ready whenever you are.
O'Connor/T’Fearne: Response
Wren: I'm ready to go.
O'Connor/T’Fearne: Response
oO Let's do this. Oo
Shortrith: I'll keep my tricorder on the highest setting, continuing to scan for life signals.
Wren/O'Connor/T’Fearne: Response
((Short timeskip, Outside The Lid, Moon Sigma))
Shortrith: Looks like we're here… Doesn't look like there's much left.
Renaie quietly swore in Klingon under their breath, silently hoping that none of the others in the away team spoke Klingon, or at least, not to the point they understood swearing.
Wren/O'Connor/T’Fearne: Response
Renaie glanced between the others and the unstable building.
Shortrith: I'm ready to go in when you are.
Wren/O'Connor/T’Fearne: Response
