((Sickbay Complex, Deck 10, USS Ronin))

Beck: Here - let's get a crewman to take this over, I know there are a few that can handle it. I'd like you to join me in Sickbay and help me start putting together the teams to start dispensing the inoculations.

Syrex: Aye, let’s get to work

As Alyndra and Beck make their way out of the lab and into the main compartment of the sickbay, beginning to prepare to disperse the teams for dispensing the S-Radiation inoculations throughout the ship, a communications channel opened in sickbay.

Niac: =/\= Standby for action, Doctor.  Bridge out. =/\=

Beck: Brace yourself, Doctor Syrex. Things are about to get bumpy.

Syrex: Aye, I’ll be ready.

After the brief warning was given, the ship went on red alert status, making Alyndra jump slightly.

Beck: Looks like we're out of prep time. Won't be long til they start deploying those S-Wave weapons.

Syrex: I agree, let’s get those teams out as quickly as we can, we may still be able to inoculate enough of the crew to make it worthwhile, I’d recommend we both get to Ward C as soon as possible after that, who knows how busy we will be.

Beck nodded in agreement with Alyndra, simultaneously, but likely unknowingly providing her with a reassuring sensation that her suggestions were proving useful thus far.

Beck: =/\= All primary medical personnel, please gather in the bullpen. =/\=

Beck strode to the sickbay's replicator. With a hand gesture, he had ordered carrying cases filled with hypos. Instinctively, Alyndra followed him, taking the resources he passed onto her.

Beck: Let's hand these to people as they come in and they can start loading up the vials themselves. You better take one, too.

Syrex: Aye

As the crewmen entered the room, Alyndra gave a hypo spray kit to each of them. As she dispersed the hypo spray kits the variety of officers and crewmen serving in medical formed a Janky-looking circle around Doctor Beck, who appeared to be scanning the crowd for specific people. The Exocomp officer, BEC glided out of ward D and towards Doctor Beck.

BEC: Sir.

Avae/Morgenstern: Response

Doctor Beck paused as the ship trembled again, allowing everyone to find their bearings. Suddenly, lights flickered and an EPS panel in Ward A exploded, engulfing the section of Sickbay in darkness and startling Alyndra a little. Despite the chaos, everyone managed to stay on their feet, and thankfully, no one was injured.

Beck: Okay, folks, obviously the theatrics have started. We're as prepped as we can be to handle any casualties as they start coming in, but our focus needs to shift heavily towards prepping for any Sencha radiation. Ensign Syrex has been working diligently prepping these doses for you - there's more than enough here to treat everyone twice, one shot every four hours or so. I doubt we'll get to the need for that second shot, but we're being extra careful here. Load yourself up with as many vials as you can carry and we're going to spread out deck by deck to inoculate the entire crew.

Doctor Beck paused, then collected a med kit, handing it to a nearby crewman. Alyndra didn’t recognise them by name.

Beck: You should be able to load up about twenty doses in these kits. Focus first on anyone that has telepathic capabilities, they're gonna be hit the hardest, but make sure to get everyone.

Doctor Beck shot a look over to Alyndra.

Beck: Ensign Syrex will be splitting you up into teams and telling you where to go.
Alyndra was shocked, but flattered when he chose her, a junior officer, to delegate such a crucial responsibility, particularly given the gravity of the situation.

Syrex: Ok ::in a loud, clear voice: I want this to go quickly and efficiently, we don’t have much time. You will be divided into four teams. Ms Morgenstern, I want you to lead team one that goes to Deck 11, you will work your way down to Deck 18, then return here. There won’t be many people on the lower decks, but still look just in case. Lieutenant Avae, you and team two will treat everyone on decks 9 through 4, primary hull only, then return here. Everyone else, divide into two teams, team three, stay here and hold the fort, and the rest of you will handle deck 10 and the catamaran in that order. Collect a hypo spray set if you haven’t already and come to me to see which team you will be in. Understood?

Avae/Morgenstern: Response

Beck: Once you've got your assignment, head out right away. If you run out of doses, come back to get some more. I'll be heading out with you. We need full crew inoculation in the next thirty minutes, so let's hustle.

Avae/Morgenstern: Response

Syrex: You all heard the doctor, let’s get a move on!

Everyone in the room swiftly began to move, with some lining up near the replicator to get a kit, some getting the vials she had spent the morning synthesising, and some coming towards Alyndra to receive their assignment.

Doctor Beck made his way to his office, before exiting a few moments later with what seemed like a bandolier strapped to him. He slipped various medical supplies into it, including a numerous amount of vials, before coming over to speak with Alyndra.

Beck: Do you want to hit the Stellar Cartography or the Bridge? I'll go to the other. I was going to just send you to the lab as I already have some experience on the Bridge in a battle situation, but thought I'd give you the option.

Syrex: I’ll take the stellar cartography lab, I have little experience being on the bridge.
oO Well… Apart from my helm simulations, but I am sure that O’Connor has that department covered Oo

Avae/Morgenstern: Response, if any

Beck: Response

Syrex: Ok, I’m heading out after I’ve sorted this lot out. If you need me, you can reach me via my communicator.

Beck: Response

Alyndra quickly assigned the rest of the medical crew to a team, then headed out of the sick bay's door, towards the stellar cartography lab.

((Corridor near Sickbay Complex, Deck 10, USS Ronin))

As she hurried down the corridor toward the stellar cartography lab, the emergency red light bathed the area in a disconcerting glow. Despite her brisk pace, each step felt like an eternity as the deafening sound of the red alert alarm echoed through the ship. The once pristine corridor was now a scene of chaos, with scattered debris littering the carpeted floor and flames licking at the walls. The acrid scent of gas filled the air, and Alyndra hesitated, unsure whether it was from the ship's fire suppression system or something more ominous. She quickened her pace, determined to reach safety before inhaling too much of the potentially toxic fumes.
Fortunately, Stellar Cartography was nearby, located on the same deck as Sick Bay. Alyndra quickly found the door and hurried inside.

As Alyndra entered, she interrupted a conversation among the officers, but she had to do so to ensure that they could continue their duties without falling ill from the Sencha radiation.

Syrex: ::Holding hypo spray with purpose:: Sorry to interrupt, but it’s time for your inoculations.

Lorana/Raedai/Alieth: Response

Syrex: Lt Commander Alieth, as you are more susceptible, you should go first.

Alieth: Response
