MSNPC Administrator B'hab - Lateralus

As the Rising angled in on the Ronin, B’hab stood at his control panel. He wanted this ship, it’s crew, all to suffer at the hands of the Alliance. What good was this alliance with those loathsome creatures anyway? They were just as advanced as the Tholians, though they did have the edge when it came to the Sencha technology; the Sheliak had been trained enough that they didn’t need a babysitter. Personally, it creeped him out dealing with other species, and the Tholians were no exception, but the higher-ups at Corporate have a different plan.
Manager F’r’a’k: Administrator, we have an incoming transmission.,
B’hab: I told you I was not to be bothered with such things!
Manager F’r’a’k: It’s from the Chairman, sir.
B’hab audibly sighed. What could they want with him now, he thought as he made his way off the bridge of the Phoenix and into his office. It was unusual for the Chairman to reach out directly to Administrators. He had people for that, apparently, whatever it was important enough for the Chairman himself to contact him. The doors hissed closed behind him, barely missing catching his cloak in the shutting door.
He turned the viewscreen on, and on the monitor was the Sheliak equivalent of the President, the CEO of Sheliak Corporate. B’hab felt a pit in his stomach starting to form. If the CEO was calling him directly, something was either not going as planned or there’d been legal changes.
B’hab: ::with bowed head:: CEO, I am at your command.
CEO: B’hab, we have an issue. Somehow, the Ferengi have gotten involved, saying something along the lines of that this system is in full dispute with the Ferengi Alliance.
B’hab: Those little worms, they’ll tie things up for years…..
He was interrupted by an alert claxon.
CEO: You are to leave the area at once, understood?
B’hab didn’t hear that he was already back out on the bridge staring at the Ronin, who, from what he could tell, had gone weapons hot. Which was curious. But if they wanted to start seeing who has the bigger bite, then he’d give the Captain all he could handle.
B’hab: Manager Cle’r’k spin up the Sencha Cannons, let them think twice before they decide to fire on us. Shields are at maximum. Prime the torpedoes and load the tubes, one chroniton torpedo.
He all but slammed a hand down to open a com channel to the Ronin.
B’hab: Was it something I said, Captain?

The Sheliak Administrator tapped away at his command console and saw another ship just outside the system, a Ferengi Maurader. Nodoubt a Arbitor from the FCA.
oO Well, that didn’t take long… Oo
B’hab: How long before they reach us?
Helm Manager: They are just minutes out.
B’hab: Well, well, well Captian, what do we have here? I’m guessing it was someone smarter than you to got the Fregengi involved. I had no clue your ship came with a lawyer. This could backfire, you know.
Kel: =/\= Response =/\=
The next voice was Sheliak or Human, but Ferengi.
Ferengi: =/= This is Liquidator Brac, and I’m escorting an Arbitor as requested by Judge Advocate General Representative Lieutenant Junior Grade Jack Morrow of the USS Ronin =/=
B’hab: This is none of your business, Ferengi; this is between the Alliance and the Ronin, you have no claim to this system.
Brac: =/= You are correct, or were correct. As of this Stardate, the Ferengi Alliance has put in a sizable bid on this system. Which would include whatever is left of the station on the moon. You’re both to remove yourselves within the next hour, or face the consequences. I’m willing to parlay if that is your choice; hostilities will not be tolerated. =/=
The transmission ended.

B’hab shook where he stood, the Ferengi sticking their lobes where they didn’t belong. He didn’t care who had a claim; the Alliance will take it by force if necessary.
B’hab: You heard the tube grub, what will it be,.
