There was still plenty of energy left in the now jettisoned pod. And energy meant more explosions. Shevon could even feel some smaller ones building in the distance. But it sounded like the others, who she didn't know, had a plan to get them out of there.

S. Sherlock: =/\= Oh! Ok! Um, do we have to do anything? =/\=

Nilsen: =/\= Nothing for you to do Sit tight, your flight will begin boarding soon, please present your booking passes =/\=

Arlill: =/\= I got it! Stand by. =/\=

Herrick: ::looking over to Shevon:: They can do it.

S. Sherlock: ::almost too casually:: I believe you. I'm sure they got this. oORight?Oo

She expected that right after saying that they'd be transported out, as if it were scripted. But alas, there they both stood, waiting. Shevon's eyes and mouth shifted in opposite directions as she patiently waited.

Herrick: =/\= Anytime now… =/\=

Shevon raised an eyebrow as a piece of nearby deck plating dematerialised. They had to know the difference between inanimate matter and living beings, didn't they?

Rouiancet: Response

Herrick: oO Ok, too much pressure is also unproductive. Oo If these explosions are coming toward us, maybe we need to put more distance between us and them. The leaking plasma might be throwing off the targeting scanners. Turbolift?

S. Sherlock: Maybe we can...

Nilsen: =/\= Yo, Sherlock right, you’re Aine’s sister? ::laughs:: What’s the best way to annoy her? =/\=

A confused look came across Shevon's face. But it was an interesting question, especially given the situation.

S. Sherlock: Well, if you really want to get under her skin, you can always bring up the zipper inc...

Rouiancet: Response

Shevon didn't get a chance to finish her thought before they were all brought back to the seriousness of their predicament.

Nilsen: =/\= Trust me bro, tractor the pod. It should increase the signal strength and, keep us relative to the pod, like a train. I’ve had an idea, Commander, how long we got until the pod's destroyed? =/\=

Arlill: =/\= Do it! =/\=

Rouiancet: Response

Shevon had followed Herrick to the turbolift, what may be their "life raft" in an essence. The entire pod shook and moved about as the tractor beam locked onto it. Shevon braced herself against the wall of the lift to not be thrown about.

S. Sherlock: =/\= Can we, uh, get out of here first? =/\=

Nilsen =/\= That’s not enough time when it blows it’s taking half the ship. I’m flying now. The tractor beam is holding. Sorry for the bumpy ride, we’re working on getting ya out.=/\=

Another hard jolt sent the pair flying. It had felt more like an actual impact than resistance of the inertial dampers against the tractor beam.

Computer: =/\= Atmospheric Leak Detected, Emergency… =/\=

S. Sherlock: =/\= Um, hey everyone, we, uh, have a big problem. We're about to go swimming in space. =/\=

Rouiancet: Response

Suddenly Shevon's vision was filled with the blue sparkling haze of the transporter as the interior of the dying pod faded and was replaced by that of the interior of a shuttle.

((Thunderbird One, a short distance away from the mission pod))

Arlill: =/\= I got them! =/\=

Nilsen =/\= I can’t pitch up. it’s weighing me down. I’m going to have to go with it. New heading. 000 mark 010. Straight on =/\=

Herrick: ::rubbing his forehead, and feeling a lump start to form:: Try to… sling it away.

S. Sherlock: Too bad the pod doesn't have RCS thrusters you could remotely control...

Rouiancet: Response

Arlill: =/\= Commander, can you pull up a remote connection to the mission pod and override the airlocks on the turbo life shafts? =/\=

Nilsen/Rouiancet: Response

Apparently they thought there was enough air in the pod to use as a thruster of sort. Shevon stood back and watched the pair of officers coordinating with the other voice that was on the line, trying to prevent a disaster for the fabled station below them.

Arlill: =/\= Wait for it (beat) wait for it. (beat) ::looking at Nilsen, who gave him a head nod:: NOW! =/\=

The shuttle and pod separated, almost violently, as Shevon braced herself by holding onto one of the empty chairs of the shuttle.

Nilsen/Rouiancet: Response

Arlill: =/\= Yes commander, it appears to have worked, well done. =/\=

She looked out the viewport of the shuttle as there was a sudden bright flash from the pod. Much of the interior was ejected from it. What was left was a floating husk.

Herrick: Well… ::looking at Shevon:: it seemed like we were saved just in time. ::looking to the front of the shuttle:: Thanks gentlemen.

S. Sherlock: Yeah. Thanks ::beat:: guys.

She still didn't know who the two were as she lightly and awkwardly patted them on their shoulders.

Nilsen/Rouiancet/Arlill: Response

Herrick: ::looking back to Shevon:: Sure I can’t convince you to join us? ::chuckling, followed by a light painful groan:: I’ll need a patch job myself.

S. Sherlock: ::to Herrick:: Oh, no. I, uh, think I'll be requesting a... oOSafer ship?Oo ...another ship. I've heard the Butler will be a safe assignment.

Nilsen/Rouiancet/Arlill: Response
