Tito (as Taybrim): That’s a valid thought as well. Then what are your suggestions?
Eskat shrugged.
Taybrim (as Garev): And there’s some sort of writing on the device – can you identify it?
Tito (as Taybrim): We have a few translated glyphs.
Gil: I havent been able to find anything close to it in our records. And we take meticulous records...
Taybrim (as Garev): It’s ancient alright, and not in the standard database.
Tito (as Taybrim): I think these are still faulty energy readings, we can decipher a little more to divert the process and we shouldn’t shut it down before that. Those are my recommendations but Researcher Gil's suggestion is valid as well.
Gil: Whatever works.
Gil watched as they tried to contact their ship. To no success.
Taybrim (as Garev): Hmm. I’m not sure if the Narendra cannot answer anymore or if our commbadges – as Researcher Gil surmised – are damaged.
Gil: Perhaps its just the proximity to the device?
Tito (as Taybrim): ?
Taybrim (as Garev): You’re a Commodore, Sir. You have encrypted and extended capabilities in your commbadge. Perhaps you should try to get a call through.
They really werent good at hiding their situation. The 'Commodore' clearly wasnt, or he was new. The other one seemed to know it all though.

Taybrim (As Garev): Connect the commbadge with your tricorder and try sending the Narendra a text message. That should pierce through the interference. Then maybe they can call us.
Gil: That could work.
Tito (as Taybrim): ?

Sol paused, for just a split second. That was his voice, but it wasnt his style of speech. She had had enough drinks with the man to recognize when somethign was off, even over the sterile-ness of a comm line. But it was only a split second, before she responded.
