As he lay perfectly still, face down on the floor of the “Enterprise”, he heard the ship exploding around him.
The Kobayashi Maru had claimed another victim.
Fairhug: ::rolling onto his back:: Computer, end program.
With that, the Constitution-class ship melted away and Gogi and Madison were left, the Doctor standing and Gogi still laying on his back, on the yellow and black grid of the holodeck.
Marsh: You're alive.
Gogi smirked.
Fairhug: How do *you* think you did?
Marsh: The program must have been set on maximum difficulty and I clearly failed to achieve the mission objective Commander.
He reached out a hand for Madison to help him up, which she did.
Fairhug: ::laughing:: Quite the opposite, actually. Were you aware that this is a no-win scenario?
Marsh: I was not aware prior to participating, but it sure fits the category of being a no-win scenario.
As the Bardeezan dusted his 23rd century uniform off, he heard the door to the holodeck open and he smirked again, looking up to see Madison’s reaction.
Fairhug: What do you think, Commodore?

Madison provided Taybrim with a casual wave in acknowledgement of his presence.
Marsh: Welcome sir, I hope that you are doing well.
Taybrim: Response
Gogi went and stood next to Madison with his arms folded across his chest.
Fairhug: I agree. She has potential.
He glanced at Madison out of the corner of his eye, an amused look on his face.
Marsh: Wait, you observed the entire simulation? Any suggestions Commodore?
Taybrim: Response
Fairhug: Did you ever take the Kobayashi Maru test, Sal?

Fairhug: ::nodding:: Only one person has ever beaten it…officially, anyway.

Fairhug: I’m a fan of Kirk’s philosophy, if not his methods.
The legendary Captain had still cheated, as far as Gogi was concerned, but sometimes cheating was the only way to win. It certainly was in the case of the Kobayashi Maru.
