((Science Labs, Miri IV-A))

Marsh shot a glance at Wethern recalling her heroics earlier against the demon plant.

Marsh: I have a solid shot, you know, Commander Fairhug taught me well. I felt like the Black Widow for a brief moment, it was kind of exhilarating.

Tito: Then, you're covering us. And I didn’t know Black Widows could fire?

Corey smirked

Wethern: I think Madison is making a reference to an old earth entertainment series. Unless she is about to grow some additional legs.

Marsh: Black Widow is a fictional character who was one of Earth's mightiest superheroes. She had a really great shot and was a token character in the Marvel universe. Come to think of it, Lieutenant Tito, you are now the hero of Miri. You saved an enormous amount of lives with your bravery. The test results are within optimal parameters with a few miniscule changes to the dosage, but nothing out of the ordinary when deriving a vaccine.

Tito: None of us are heroes, we just do what needs to be done. So, do we take it outside?

Wethern: It could get a little messy if we stay in here. More space will give us a greater variety of options.

Madison perked an eyebrow indicating her curiosity when she turned to face Lieutenant Tito.

Marsh: Perhaps we should inform Commodore Taybrim that we developed a vaccine, tested it, and it works. Did you want to do the honors?

Tito: Is everything green? I want to be sure we got this before we call it and begin to work on the cure and distribution.

Wethern: Everything on the scanner is green I think the only thing remaining is a field test.

Tito: Then you're on phaser duty. :: Then he turned to the two of them.:: Let us step outside and get our final readings.

Madison grinned from ear to ear and patted her trusty phaser sheathed on her belt.

Marsh: On it sir!

Wethern: I'll grab our new vine like friend.

Corey picked up the containment box.

((Open Field, Miri IV-A))

Tito: I don’t need to do anything like eat the flower or something like that, right?

After walking through the field at the back of the science labs she watched Tito smile and raise his arms in the air.

Marsh: No, I think you're good now, but I suggest that we take final readings.

Wethern: Well that is unless you are feeling like you need a snack. It probably still tastes better than Starfleet rations and less likely to kill you.

Tito: Good, get the final readings and lets spread the word.

Marsh whipped out her medical tricorder and scanned Tito. Her ocean blue eyes scanned the data results and studied them.

Marsh: Everything looks good, it appears that we have derived a successful formula.

Wethern: This thing almost seems scared of you Tito. I'd consider that a success. Looks like you have developed an immunity.

Tito: =/\= Tito to Taybrim and Fairhug. We have good news. Doctors Wethern and Marsh manage to find a cure.

Taybrim/Fairhug: =/\= ?

Madison offered Wethern a high five and a glorious smile. Corey returned the high five.

Marsh: We did it again pal! We're the A team!

Wethern: Although this will definitely be an interesting report to write up. I wonder what will happen to Rodrega after all of this.

Tito: ?

Marsh nodded her head and looked up at Cory.

Marsh: Always a joy working with you.

Wethern: Likewise, although we should probably start generating vials that can be beamed to the medical centres on the planet to get some of the help out.

Tito: ?

Madison pivoted off of her back heel to turn to meet Tito.

Marsh: And I enjoy working with you to Lieutenant. Did you ever have any doubt?

Wethern: I think the killer vine was a bit of touch and go. I'm going to write a book....101 Places Not to Go On An Away Mission. 1. Anywhere with dark caves, 2. Anywhere with killer vines.

Tito: ?

She laughed while heartedly at Wethern’s comment as he made her laugh quite often. She placed a hand on Cory’s shoulder a few moments.

Marsh: I agree with all of those assessments Corey. Let’s get the transport process started.

Wethern: I was thinking on Commander Fairhugs comments I wonder whether this would work as an aerosol directly on the plants to at least have a sedative kind of effect on them if not killing them.

She thought over Fairhug’s theory and knew they were meant to be tested prior to being proven to be scientific fact or not.

Marsh: We’ll need to run a lot more simulations and conduct careful research to ensure we don’t murder the killer vines though.

Tito/Wethern: ?

Madison pointed up to the sky where the Narendra was up there orbiting the moon.

Marsh: We’ll need to get the Narendra to assist us with getting the cure out plant side with the transporter.

Tito/Wethern:?
