Lt. Commander Solaris McLaren - Off the Beaten Path

(( Eastern Most Edge of the Rakantha Province, Bajor ))
Sol looked around as their small group made their way toward the abandoned town that they were going to see. The weather on Bajor was quite nice, and Sol was enjoying the warmth of the sun on her skin. It was nice to get out and see such places off the beaten path. She was dressed for a hike, wearing a simple tunic, a pair of rugged pants and thick soled boots. A small bag was slung over her shoulder where she carried some water and her tricored as well as a few PADDs and a hold-out phaser, just incase. Her pocket knife was safely tucked inside her boot like it always was.
DeVeau: Certainly a beautiful area.
Sol nodded.
McLaren: Mmhmm, very beautiful.
Blackwell/Renot: ?
DeVeau: No, it really isn’t. It says people will come here, but it
doesn’t seem to be a particularly popular tourist attraction.
McLaren: Thats a shame... but I guess people only like the more well known place.
Blackwell/Renot: ?
DeVeau: I just thought it might be nice to visit some place off the
beaten path.
McLaren: Well, I appreciate the invite. Been a while since I could sit back and relax for a bit.
Blackwell/Renot: ?
Sol smiled, looking around as the group moved down the streat they had found themselves on. Alora has he TriPADD out, so sol didnt see the reason to bring hers out yet. She took a moment to stop, examining some of the plats that had overgorwn the buildings. She wasnt a botanist, but she could appreciate the unique beauty of nature reclaiming a once lived in area.
McLaren: One good thing about coming to such an out of the way place... we dont have to deal with other tourists who want to see things.
Blackwell/Renot/DeVeau: ?
McLaren: Its just a hassle to look around an explore when you might be bumnping into a bunch of other people... its nice to have the time to really look around and see things.
Blackwell/Renot/DeVeau: ?
McLaren: Who knows what we'll find here... :: She paused. :: Probably nothing given even the archaeologists didnt find all that much... but still, just think of the possibilities.
