Tito trusted his teammates enough to offer himself for testing the serum.
As he was searching for any side effects as he looked around, shook his head. Looked down to his hands, closing and opening them.
Tito: Just a little heartbeat acceleration. Might be the stress. ::He tipped his head to the side and his smile was gone for a moment.:: I had a history of substance abuse years ago. ::he tapped his forehead with his finger.:: Probably just old ghosts still stuck in here. Aside from that I am good
Wethern and Marsh tried to put him more at ease
Wethern: I did note it on your medical record. It did also note your recovery process. Please be assured you are protected by medical confidentiality this will not go any further. Additionally, there is nothing in the serum which is a known addictive substance.
Marsh: The slightly elevated heat rate is likely teal coat syndrome.
Tito nodded and stood up. He waved his arms around and took a few steps, trying to see if there was something wrong with him. He was still feeling his heart beating a little faster than usual, but nothing too serious. When he jogged and exercised it would beat faster and harder than that.
Tito: Scan me as much as you wish. I don’t feel anything different. ::He smiled at them.:: Balance, movement and coordination are all in the same setting.
Wethern: We will continue to see whether there are any I'll effects. ::Corey smiled:: Unfortunately, you haven't turned green or developed an extra head either.
Marsh chuckled and added her own quip.
Marsh: Are you developing superhuman strength by chance?
Tito raised an eyebrow surprised by her question. He straighten his finger and pressed it against one of the lab tables, and shook his head when it didn’t break.
Tito: Nope, no super strength.
Wethern kept scanning.
Wethern: If we have done everything right the plants should almost ignore you rather than attacking. It is a little bit like making you taste unappealing to them equally the venom should be nullified.
Marsh replied from her console.
Marsh: Everything is looking great systematically so far, we're just waiting for the computer to compile the final test results and areas to improve the vaccine.
Tito: Great so, what’s next?
Wethern frowned slightly.
Wethern: I suppose the proof is in the pudding we should probably see whether the plant wants a snack. Although I'd suggest we stay ready with a phaser.
Marsh shot a glance at Wethern.
Marsh: I have a solid shot, you know, Commander Fairhug taught me well. I felt like the Black Widow for a brief moment, it was kind of exhilarating.
Tito raised an eyebrow.
Tito: Then, you're covering us. And I didn’t know Black Widows could fire?
Wethern: ?
Marsh: Black Widow is a fictional character who was one of Earth's mightiest superheroes. She had a really great shot and was a token character in the Marvel universe. Come to think of it, Lieutenant Tito, you are now the hero of Miri. You saved an enormous amount of lives with your bravery. The test results are within optimal parameters with a few miniscule changes to the dosage, but nothing out of the ordinary when deriving a vaccine.
Tito shook his head. He was far from heroic. If he ever was a role model, it would be on how not to act as a Starfleet officer.
Tito: None of us are heroes, we just do what needs to be done. So, do we take it outside?
Wethern: ?
Marsh perked an eyebrow as she glanced at Lieutenant Tito.
Marsh: Perhaps we should inform Commodore Taybrim that we developed a vaccine, tested it, and it works. Did you want to do the honors?
Tito looked at Wethern.
Tito: Is everything green? I want to be sure we got this before we call it and begin to work on the cure and distribution.
Wethern: ?
Tito turned to Marsh.
Tito: Then you're on phaser duty. :: Then he turned to the two of them.:: Let us step outside and get our final readings.
Wethern/Marsh: ?
He walked between them as they walked across the corridors to get outside, in the place they were attacked and did their research.

After a small walk they were again outside, at the back of the science lab buildings.
Tito smiled and raised his arms.
Tito: I don’t need to do anything like eat the flower or something like that, right?
Wethern/Marsh: ?
Tito: Good, get the final readings and lets spread the word.
Wethern/Marsh: ?
Tito nodded and he couldn't hide a little pride in his tone as he spoke.
Wethern and Marsh did a great job. He tapped his combadge to open the comlines.
Tito: =/\= Tito to Taybrim and Fairhug. We have good news. Doctors Wethern and Marsh manage to find a cure.
