OOC - Skipping to the beginning of the dinner scene

Sheila had returned to her quarters after her shift at about 16:30 hours. Her shift was shorter than usual so as to allow her to take time for shore leave. Granted she didn’t work every day so that helped too. What didn’t change was that fact that it always felt good to be back in the lower gravity her quarters provided.
Entering her quarters she was able to lower the gravity to that of Elaysia. This meant that the gravity was ⅛ that of earth. She wasn’t floating. Okay, so imagine being on a trampoline and how one step can take you to the other side; it’s like that. Sheila could spin and dance as she moved about the apartment getting changed and making dinner. Dinner itself would be simple. Most Elaysian dishes were. That was until you got to the dessert.
As Sheila moved around freely, still wearing her exoskeleton, she worked to take apart the fruit that would be used for both dinner and dessert. While she worked she wore a plain white t-shirt and a pair of jeans; her feet were bare. Her t-shirt had black stripes on the sleeves and an image of a fairy like character on the front. She was told once that it was a character from Disney in the 21 century but Sheila had no clue who she was beyond that.
Soon enough Sheila had set the table, got dinner warming on her small stove, transferred into her wheelchair as she lowered the gravity for her guest, all in time for her door chime to go off.

Bailey: It’s great to see you. Dinner should be ready in about 5 minutes. Please have a seat. ::she motioned over to her seating area which was next to the kitchen::
