S’zurak: We were originally talking about sssports. Do you engage in any, sh’Sssonora? Besidesss… hoverboarding?
sh’Sonora: ::chuckles:: Am I in sports? Hmmmm… I’ve been in my school’s sports collective, practiced dance and fighting since a bit after I could walk, participated in tournaments since I was a child, and I was a member of the Academy martial arts demonstration team and gymnastics club. Yeah, I think I’m into sports.
The Andorian pilot demonstrated a wide skillset, several already verified. S’zurak adjusted his assessment of her accordingly.
Taybrim: I’m getting the feeling that you enjoy sports that give you an adrenaline rush.
sh’Sonora: Oh yeah! Especially motorsports! If it goes fast, I want to on it or in it!
Further interaction would be beneficial. Her preferred pace was… aggressive.
S’zurak: I would like to join you for sssome sportsssometime, Ensign. ::turning to Taybrim:: Are these sportsss you shy away from?
Taybrim: Not in the slightest. I enjoy a good bout of parasailing or skydiving on a regular basis.
sh’Sonora: Then you’ll love Risean powerboarding. Beats the breaks off of jetskis, that’s for sure!
Mi’shune showcased familiarity with vehicles of all types. S’zurak would take note of that.
S’zurak: You are skilled with the powerboard. That aligns with your gymnastics and martial training.
Taybrim: Well, the beaches of Raskor are always open to the crew of StarBase 118! For whatever invigorating activities we enjoy.
sh’Sonora: Oh yes! I got to explore the northern fjords on my powerboard. Very scenic, and nice choppy waves for a little challenge. You all found quite the paradise planet here. I may have to explore it some more.
Raskor II met multiple criteria: stable climate, varied terrain, and controlled risk environments. Recreational, yes, but not without merit. S’zurak wanted to bask in the sun, play in the winds and waves, and show off his might all at the same time.
Despite only showing up for a short visit, S’zurak found Raskor II’s beaches more than sufficient.
The conversation stalled. No immediate continuation presented itself. A response was required. A positive assessment of the environment would suffice.
S’zurak: I could absolutely enjoy some more time here. I would welcome a return.
Taybrim: That said, I believe the food is ready, and everyone should eat and drink, for soon I must go up to that podium and embarrass everyone with praise and awards.
sh’Sonora: Catch you later, Sir!
S’zurak: Aye, Sssir. Don’t let us keep you.
As soon as Taybrim’s back was turned and his course was set for the podium, Mi’shune whispered conspiratorially with S’zurak.
sh’Sonora: Do you know what he has planned?
S’zurak: He did not say. One can conclude it will be a form of torture, no doubt.
sh’Sonora: ::Shrugs:: No matter. Between turning into a teenager and wrecking a runabout and the station, I’m probably going to be missed, which is probably a good thing. ::Then her antennae spring up.:: Unless he shows a blooper reel…
S’zurak: I would classify that as a form of torture.
