(Gar) LT Mei'konda - Hazy Memories (Garuda Sickbay)

(( Sorry for my absence, everyone!  Christmas stuff, you know.  I'm going to jump ahead here to the Garuda, and sum up what went on previously as best I can. ))

(( Primary Sickbay, USS Garuda ))

:: Mei'konda's last few hours of memory were a little hazy.  From what he'd heard from Ensign Hathaway, Reynolds had decided that the particle beam fired into Nygel's smaller star had to happen sooner rather than later, and their gambit had worked.  Sort of.  It had driven off the Cardassian cruiser, but had left the Mercury utterly crippled. ::

:: The ship would have been lost with all hands.  Metaphasic shields failing, it would have disintegrated in the sun's corona, along with any shuttles or lifeboats that had attempted to eject.  The Caitian ops officer had been thrown from his seat and cracked his head hard on something, and the next thing he knew, he was in a Federation sickbay.  Not the Mercury, that's for sure, but there were familiar faces here.  Both in other medical beds, and working.  Perhaps uninjured members of the Mercury's crew were assisting?  He sat slowly upward, blinking his eyes slowly. ::

MEI'KONDA: Ah... h-hello?  Whaat ship is this?

GARUDA SICKBAY (Anyone): [Tag]

MEI'KONDA: The Garuda?  I... I do not know her.  What happened to the Mercury?

GARUDA SICKBAY (Anyone): [Tag]

:: He let out a short sigh of relief, and reached up to lay a hand on his forehead.  There were bare patches of fur.  He glanced toward the medical officer, quizzically.  His own injuries weren't what he was worried about. ::

MEI'KONDA: Good, and... ah, there was a pet dog in my quaarters.  Could you... do you know if he's all right?

GARUDA SICKBAY (Anyone): [Tag]

:: Mei'konda slumped back down onto the bio bed, and let out a short sigh.  Guest quarters, the medic had told him.  Odin was all right, minor injuries only, and much of the Mercury's crew had been temporarily relocated to the Garuda due to the Oracle class starship's condition.  At least Odin was okay. ::

MEI'KONDA: Ah, thank you.  Verry much.  When may I leave Sickbay?
