((Alpha Trionus II Prison, Corridor Between Junctions))

A plan was being formed as they were wrapping things up here in Tram’s office.

Shayne: What do you need from us to get it done?

A. Dewitt: We should destroy the data.

Why? Despite the gory nature of the data, it could be invaluable to understand and an opportunity in learning more about the Sheliak and Tholians.

Matthews: Okay, here’s what we need to do. Get the Starfleet personnel beamed over to the ship first. Transport all the Padds we’ll be using as make shift buffer disks with them. Our science department can work with engineering to get the data saved and then handed over to Zerva for legal purposes. ::he looked to the captain just to make sure he was right::

The Captain gave Richard a slow nod.

Matthews: Stros, Commander Dewit and myself will work on the buffers and false life signs and other trickery. Maybe splitting up the task, I know I’m able to trick the enemy sensors. Not that confident in backing up living people on a PADD though.

Stros: I can work with Commander Dewitt on bringing the buffers online. ::Beat:: After I make sure the explosives are in place and ready for detonation.

Kinda hard for either one to work with Commander Dewitt when he had to leave suddenly. Does Lieutenant Dewitt know? Did he tell her before leaving? If he did, it wasn’t when the Commander was with himself and Commander Stros. Unless they did it that brief moment they stepped out of their sight.

A. Dewitt: how convincing is this going to be? How effective? Are the emitters up to the job?

Hopefully they would be up to the task.

Matthews: I’ll do a quick check on the emitters here at the facility while we wait to beam back. Just need to know how many there are and their location. Should be able to manually program them from the ship. I’ll use separate server in case there is a virus we have to worry about. Start running security scans.

Shayne: We’ll figure out the PADD.

Good call. Even without the Second Officer present, they could figure it out between themselves.

Matthews: I’ll start on this now, and be ready to head back when the word is given.

The Captain grabbed one of the free devices, and began peeling off the back panel for a look at its innards.

Stros: It would seem we have our work cut out for us.

A. Dewitt: When do we not?

Zerva: Just another day at the office.

Thankfully Mr Tram had remained silent, giving them the opportunity to work without Tram’s interference.

Matthews/Shayne/Stros: Response

A.Dewitt: Captain we need to be careful here. Perhaps working on these onboard would make the process easier and we’d be out of the way if needs to be done here.

Not a bad suggestion. Especially since he needed a shower and Mr. Tram here was ready to be transported to the brig. The only other thing he needed was the rest of the information on the one PADD, something as the Lieutenant pointed out could be done on the Khitomer.

Zerva: ::nodding in agreement:: I concur with Lieutenant Dewitt sir. It might be best if we get our guest Mr. Tram here on board to his guest quarters, sooner rather than later.

It would keep Mr. Tram out of their way so the rest of them could get their work done.

Matthews/Shayne/Stros: Response

A.Dewitt: Should we take these to Commander Dewitt Sir?

Ezra shifted nervously. He wasn’t going to be the one to tell her that her husband had some sort of emergency that took him away from the prison planet.

He casted a glance over to the others, wondering what one of them might say about the absent Second Officer.

Zerva: Yes sir. I can over see Mr. Tram’s transportation. ::smirks:: I’m sure he’ll love his new accommodations.

Matthews/Shayne/Stros/A.Dewitt: Response

Zerva: ::smiling and a wink:: Best replicated food this side of the Alpha Isles.

Matthews/Shayne/Stros/A.Dewitt: Response

Zerva: Right away sir. I’ll get right on it. ::to Matthews:: I’ll meet you in the security suite once you have the rest of the data.

Matthews/Shayne/Stros/A.Dewitt: Response

Once everything here was ready, on the Captain’s orders Mr. Tram was transported over the ships brig. Ezra took the PADD in hand that Richard had mentioned with the available data thus far and made his ready to beam up. The remaining information could be sent his way once things were completed.
