[sb118-khitomer] Lieutenant (JG) Ezra Zerva - Tholians, Sheliak, and Transporters, Oh My!

Red Alert had sounded. Alpha Shift began making preparations. Ezra knew the prisoners were being brought on board. He had little time to waste. Lieutenant Michaels and Ensign Morda would need his help. 

A computer bleep let him know he had a priority one message. It was from Ensign Morda. They were requesting for his attention in cargo hold 4 at his convenience. A quick check on the computer indicated all remaining security teams were enroute. Now seemed like the best time to be convenient. Any delays could cause them more problems.

He paused realizing that Ensign Matthews should have met him here by now. That was the plan they had both agreed upon before he left Mr. Tram’s office. Once Richard had all the computer information there would be no reason to stay on the planet. Unless the Ensign had been pulled away on another task by the Captain or another senior officer, this meant something was wrong.

Zerva: Dam it Richard where are you?! 

Maryu: Sir?

Zerva: ::beat:: Maryu, take Alpha Shift and head to cargo bay 4 to assist our new security officer, Ensign Morda. Let him know I’m on my way.

Maryu: Yes sir!

Alpha Shift exited the suite, while Ezra made a check on his friend.

Zerva: Computer ::bleep:: Locate Ensign Matthews.

Computer: Ensign Matthews is not on board.

That meant he was still on the planet. What was Richard still doing there? Ezra knew the Marines had been sent to ensure the rest of the remaining Khitomer crew and prison staff evacuated from the planet. He knew how stubborn Richard could be when they were in the middle of completing a task. He just hoped Lieutenant Torado would get everyone, including his friend in time. 

He hesitated tapping his combadge to Richard as he exited into the adjoining corridor towards the nearest turbo lift and instead decided it was better to call Ensign Morda.

Zerva: =/\= I got your message and I’m on my way to you now. Where are we at on the prison evacuation? =/\= 

Morda: =/\= Response =/\= 

Zerva: =/\= Understood. Recommendations on alternative locations for the prisoners beyond cargo bay 4? =/\=
