Nicholotti: Then I guess you are stuck with me in the interim.

She knew that it was going to be an interesting transition when she found out that the Khitomer was not with the crew upon their arrival to the planet. What she didn't realize was that the cruise had only just started and that she was likely up for at least some forced adventure, or whatever they wanted to call it.

Naxell: Delightful, Admiral. ::mild concern:: We’re only scheduled to be here for the day. I’ll secure a cabin for you aboard the Indulgence.

C. Dewitt: Response

Nicholotti: Sounds like a good plan. I'm not one for pleasure cruises normally, but I suppose a means to an end will have to work.

There was a nod from the new CO of the Khitomer as he changed the subject.

Naxell: Have you had much time for the museums, Admiral?

C. Dewitt: Response

Kali shrugged slightly, and shook her head to indicate not.

Nicholotti: With he symposium, not really. Most of what I have been able to sneak away and take a look at has been related to government. I hear that is only a tiny part of the many unique topics covered here though.

Naxell: Eclectic, yes. ::smiling:: In my experience there’s always at least one new thing to learn, and there’s always a little bit of joy in finding it.

Eclectic was a word that could be used to describe it. Kali nodded slightly in agreement. Learning was a lifelong process, and she was pretty sure that it was mandated somewhere that for her to keep going, she'd need to keep learning. Perhaps that was ultimately what kept her interest in such places, even if the topic at the moment didn't pique her interest.

It was at that point that they seemed to come to a natural stop, looking upwards at the nearest building now. A large sign indicated, in a puzzle-like fashion, that this was the museum of Jigsaw Puzzles Across the Quadrant. Eclectic might have been too simple of a word after all.

C. Dewitt: Response

Nicholotti: As long as it doesn't have anything to do with politics or changing governments or the like.

Sometimes seriousness was a little too much. Perhaps jigsaw puzzles were just what was needed.

Naxell: After you!

C. Dewitt: Response

With a bit of a pivot, Kali turned and stepped up the small staircase towards the door. The handle reflected a puzzle piece, which was not entirely unexpected. She mused at it as she watched the door open, sliding into the floor, which was transparent and allowed visitors to see what was once the door become the missing piece in a shadowy puzzle just beneath their feet.

Nicholotti: At least they are creative with it.

Shooting a smile back towards the men, she moved into the building proper.

Naxell/C. Dewitt: Responses?

There weren't an overabundance of people in the lobby, off which four wings led. Each had a different color, which correlated to something she assumed. Not reading, she looked to the others.

Nicholotti: Pick a color, any color.

Naxell/C.Dewitt: Responses?

With an impish grin, that was the direction in which she stepped.

Nicholotti: Off we go then.

Naxell/C. Dewitt: Responses?
