to USS Khitomer – StarBase 118 Star Trek PBEM RPG
((Junior Officer’s Living Quarters, Eventually - Deck 14, USS Khitomer))
Petty Officer Stella Sparks was hip deep in the frame of what used to be a privy, holdin’ a pipe trying to show off the damage to the poor Ensign who’s toilet she’d done disassembled.
Morda: I’ll take it under advisement. ::spotting movement from the conduit Sparks was working on, using his sandwich to point:: Intruder alert, Sparks. Something’s coming at ya.
Blinking, Stella swallowed nervously. A few stray filaments had awoken and were tryin' to say hello. Last time, she almost lost a pigtail. So, she was shakin' a bit in her bright pink daisy wellies.
Sparks: Huh…well that’s new….um…Hey there little suckers…y’all mind vacatin’ this here privy…?
Morda: You asking me or them?
Her tinkling laughter ended in a snort.
Sparks: Them, obviously. Unless you feel like havin’ a few wiggly little roomates…
Morda: Sparks, you’re a warp field specialist, aren’t you? Is engineering spread that thin we’ve got you turning wrenches on the plumbing?
There was a reason. And truth be told, she weren’t too pleased about it ‘neither.
Sparks: ::grimacing:: Um…well, ya see I’m kinda the only one aboard who um…::glancing down:: Fits in here…everyone else gets stuck worse than a hog in honey.
And she’d done seen her share.
Morda: Okay. Well. Can I help you out? And/or, can I get you a sandwich? ::Looking over at the sink:: Provided there’s water to wash your hands.
Sparks: ::beaming brightly:: That is sure nice of you sir! I’ll be done in about six shakes of a donkey’s tail providin’ this is the only pipe they done tore through…You go enjoy your dinner, I will make sure to put it all to rights before bedtime, just you wait!
