(Main Sickbay ~ After the briefing)
So Captain Shayne was sequestered off on mandatory medical leave, the details of which stayed private for innumerable reasons, although she sensed the concern and curiosity threads swirling about the main briefing room. They were to enter a nebula and test out new weaponry. Supposedly, no one could find them once inside. And while she tracked the pulsing vein on Commander Hobart's forehead, she couldn't blame those for being nervous.
Once attacked by the Lattice alliance, twice shy and all that. Not to mention what Ayemet had lived through. Still, they had a job to do, and time to do it.
Ohnari: Alright, I've got a plan for a mass dispersal of the Sencha preventative serum. Replicating hundreds of vials and dispersing them was a nightmare of logistics last time, so I've been working on an aerosolized dispersal via the life support system. Truth be told, this is a bit of my own personal experimentation. And it seems this is the mission for experimentation. ::shaking her head in partial disbelief:: Commander T'Dara, you're the expert on the modified emitter, anything we should prepare for in addition to the serums? Radiation is never a fun present to bring to a party, telepathy or not.
A.Dewitt/T'Dara: Response
Talia already had concerns she would...aggravate the visiting expert. Her family believed that communication in all forms was a gift. And she tended to be a little less technical, and a little more colorful when expressing hers. Or maybe the eyebrow thing was just an involuntary twitch.
oO Right. Go one telling yourself that. Oo
Ohnari: Lieutenant Dewitt, while I do realize you've moved into the counselor role, ::winking:: amazing decision by the way, ::Was it because they were desperate for a counselor the Captain didn't want to punch? Decidedly yes.:: But your past posting in science may be needed in this particular avenue. What are the chances of working on an early detection scan? Or some type of checks and balances to make sure the levels never rise above concerning?
A.Dewitt/T'Dara: Response
Ohnari: Luckily for us, ::tapping on her PADD:: We have the collective published paper by our own resident Kressari, Doctor El'Heem, along with esteemed colleague Doctor Syrex of our Ronin sister ship. ::the projector above her displayed the molecular structures mentioned in the paper:: Of course special mention to Captain Niac's previous host whom the radiation wave was named for...::wincing:: Posthumously.
A.Dewitt/T'Dara: Response
