[sb118-khitomer] Lieutenant (JG) Ezra Zerva - Am I Expendable?

Ezra finished his talk with the CMO and made his way to the consoler’s office. He let Lieutenant Dewitt know he was there.

A. Dewitt: Response.

Zerva: ::enters the room:: I’m feeling much better now thank you. My vision has fully returned. Sleeping all the way back to DS-33 helped as well. Thank you for seeing me again. I’m actually looking forward to today’s appointment.

Surprisingly his left hand didn’t twitch this time as it had at his last appointment, which was also his first appointment with the counselor. Something about today’s visit had him excited to talk about a number of things.

A. Dewitt: Response.

Zerva: ::nodded taking as seat:: A cup of tea would be nice thank you. Black tea, two sugars please. A lot has happened since we last talked. I had dinner with my mom and my friend Is’Kah on my birthday during our last shore leave. Even though things didn’t quite go as planned, I feel like maybe there’s hope for us to improve things?

A. Dewitt: Response.

Zerva: ::takes the tea:: Thank you. ::takes a sip:: That’s good. Where was I? Or right, the usual criticism from her and me trying to make it work. We sorta kinda hugged after the meal. 

A. Dewitt: Response.

Zerva: It was a bit awkward, but nice at the same time. I’m hoping this means things will improve. I really want to make things better between us. I also found myself on three different dates last shore leave.

A. Dewitt: Response.

Zerva: I enjoyed them and the CMO helped me through some of my concerns just now in sickbay about dating, but there’s something else before we continue with the conversation about my family and romantic relationships ::nervously changing the subject:: There was something I tired to bring up to the good doctor just now that happened during our recent mission on the bridge. I found myself unable to tell her all of it for reasons I’ll explain in a moment, but I need to know ::beet:: Am I expendable?

A. Dewitt: Response.
