OOC ~ I am in a migraine haze, if I miss any tags please inform me.

((Deck 6, Sickbay, USS Khitomer))

The SCE workers so far were sticking to the one meter bubble order, which was good. Now, they had another conundrum, lying in the details of the performance reviews that sparked concerns sent up by Lieutenant Samara. It seemed anything to do with Sencha waves and the attempts to counteract them had some...unexpected consequences. Or, at least, that is what they were attempting to sort out.

Ohnari: Much better. ::handing a PADD to Ayemet:: Here is the data on the affected crew, if you want to review and see if something jumps out at you as consistent behavior wise, I'll start on the biometric readings before and after.

A.Dewitt: :mumbling to herself: I’m a counselor not a doctor.

Talia raised an eyebrow, she gave Ayemet the behavioral charts, she even double checked to make sure she was correct and didn't hand over a list of biometrics. Perhaps her friend had been waiting for an excuse to use that line since her departmental shift.

The Gods knew Talia did. Every chance she got. While the great Branch Admiral Leonard McCoy had been a brilliant physician, he was canonized in the medical community for his many protests at having to work outside his medical field. Medicine and blatant sarcasm. What more could she love?

Ohnari: Ras, after you've sent the tactical report to Commander Hobart, would you please see what existing sensor we can modify for Chroniton levels? Last thing we need is an increased risk in cellular temporal migration.

El'Heem
: Aye doctor. We have Chroniton monitoring in place but I would say in it’s current capacity, it is certainly lackluster.

Ohnari
: We'll do the best we can with what we have, operating under the assumption this will all be preventative and not reactive...any questions?

Semara: =/\= Lieutenant Semara to all, stand by for main power shutoff.  Outta take an hour.  I'll call again when we're done.  Semara out. =/\=

A loud groan left her mouth. Two steps forward, twenty eight steps back.

El’Heem: ::pointing upwards:: Yes. I have a question. Can it wait until after we’re no longer on auxiliary power?

A Dewitt: Oh hold on! I know the answer to this one!

Ohnari: ::scrunching her face:: Ha-ha. You're both hilarious.

Her Sickbay was overrun by invaders of the diagnostic kind, another possible complication of this blasted radiation. Curses upon whichever entity created it. And their mama. In her exasperation, she began chanting a Haliian mantra that got her through situations like this, roughly, it translated to something along the lines of "On my mama, on my hood, I look fly I look good." Unconventional, but damned if it wasn't effective.

Computer: ::beep:: Auxiliary power activated. Biobed system operating at reduced functionality.

El’Heem
: The commander is going to be annoyed as it is at the hiccup. I ought to check in on the bridge now. I’ll be back when power is restored and will have a solution for our Chroniton dilemma.

A Dewitt: Hiccup?!

Ohnari: ::rubbing her forehead in agitation:: Please tell me, Ayemet, this is some mandatory psych test you've been ordered to complete and it will be done soon??

El’Heem:
You two let me know if I have to speak to any of these engineers about personal space. Just tell them “Just wait until your father gets home.”

Now Talia had the giggles, after a few rather un-ladylike snorts, she finally got it back together. Although, glancing towards Ras, she now pictured him with a pipe, reading glasses, and a scowl, and it was back to the giggling.

A Dewitt:  Judging by Talia’s scolding I think that won’t be necessary. They’ll be more afraid of her than sencha waves.

Talia followed with the very Terran gesture of an "Up top"

Ohnari: ::high-fiving Ayemet:: Damn right they will.

Although her professional goal was to be approachable and decidedly not scary, her nerves were frayed as it was. And now the forced power outage had basically put her in a holding pattern of waiting. Her least favorite of the holding patterns.

A Dewitt: Talia the biobeds are all free, do you have anyone in critical care?

Mentally calculating, she thanked the Gods above she did not.

Ohnari: No, thankfully. With the upcoming test, I've rescheduled any planned procedures. And due to the nature of the nebula, any crew that needed more advanced care was transferred to the closest hospital outpost, but other than a certain petty officer....no one needed to go.

Petty Officer Bryant. He had done it again. The man was a menace, and was requiring a fourteen day mandatory psych hold.

A Dewitt: I guess we can be thankful for small mercies.

The auxiliary power had done one thing for them, the SCE diagnostics were essentially halted.

A Dewitt: It seems like we’re stuck in here. Ras got out just in time.

Talia had opened her mouth to instruct the now milling-about SCE team so see what they could do about the door, when suddenly, an invisible, but powerful wave smacked into her core with the power of a very angry tsunami. For a moment, she felt as if all the air had been expressed from her lungs. Everything around her was off kilter, it wasn't until several seconds later she realized that the artificial gravity had been altered, and in the aftermath of the wave, she was partially upright, the hem of her skant had caught on the main console, which prevented her from being flung about like a Farmhouse in a tornado.

Ohnari: ::calling out:: Everyone alright? ::glancing around hazily:: Ayemet?

That damn Sencha wave must have spilled over, because for several seconds, all she could sense was a cool, minty haze. The gravity had been reduced, so smaller bits of equipment not bolted down, floated about them. She could sense various groans and pained grunts.

A Dewitt
:  :shakily: Talia are you okay?

Ohnari: I'm alright, I got snagged on the main console. Are you alright? If you feel dizzy or disoriented, stay where you are and don't attempt movement yet. That had to be a Sencha wave.

Hobart: =/\= Hobart to Sickbay. First pulse is complete, any casualties? I don't know if I was supposed to feel anything, with the, uh, thing. =/\=

Ohnari: =/\= One hell of a pulse there...uh, sir. ::right, he had that suppression device:: I believe injuries, but no casualties. =/\=

Hobart: =/\= Alright, well, keep us posted. We'll be moving forward with more tests. =/\=

Ohnari: =/\= Pretty sure that's gonna be a pause on all testing...given the current lighting situation...Good luck up there, Ohnari out =/\=

Suddenly, Talia was transported back to the Captain's Ready room, all those weeks ago whilst in the midst of an all out assault by the Lattice Alliance. There, the gravity had failed, and she was surrounded by Ensigns breaking limbs like matchsticks. At least, this time, she had a hairband to get the floating raven tendrils out of her face. And, this was her department. She could navigate it entirely blind. However, entirely blind and floating? Well, this was going to be interesting.

Following the snagged hem, she got both hands on the console, and began searching underneath for the emergency kits she had stashed in every available corner. Within a few moments, a slight pop and then faint pink light began floating about her like the fae lights from her father's stories.

Ohnari: Huh. Brighter than I expected. ::calling out:: Emergency light sources coming at you. ::With the pitch, she could just float the emergency lights towards the directions of where she sensed.:: Wave the stick if you are injured.

A.Dewitt: Response

Several pink splots of light began waving. Emergency kit in hand, Talia began floating in the direction she heard Ayemet.

Ohnari: Are you injured?

A.Dewitt: Response

Ohnari: ::her smirk appeared somewhat ghostly in the faint lighting:: Believe it or not, I actually ordered blue. ::digging through the bag, she produced a hypo and administered it swiftly:: Mild analgesic, it will help with the harshest effects of that wave. If you feel nauseous or have any severe pain, let me know. Do you think you are up to helping me triage?

A.Dewitt: Response

Ohnari: ::handing the woman a medkit:: Basic medkit, dermal regenerator for minor lacerations, analgesic hypos, pre-set tricorder with emergency power. Any major wounds or breaks, call me over. Or anything you're not comfortable with. ::smirking:: And yes, I am fully aware you are a counselor and not a doctor.

A.Dewitt: Response

With a swift kick off the wall, she began floating the first grouping of flashes of pink. A few minor burns from a welding tool, minor injuries, and thanking the Gods above, nothing major. At least, not yet.
