((Lab 1, Sickbay, Deck 6, USS Khitomer))

It has been just about the strangest day Haliian Chief Medical Officer Talia Ohnari had for some time. And considering how things tended to go bananas out in the Isles, that was saying something. An efficient line of backsides had just been immunized. Although it seemed one Marine spent Shoreleave in some unsavory places and would be getting an injection of a different kind, in a different cheek. She wasn't a monster

Ohnari: Othin! Back on the line.

A certain Klingon was enjoying the display a little too much.

Othin: ::crossing her massive arms over her chest:: Five minute break boss. Union rules.

Truth be told, Talia never checked. It was way easier to just let the woman have her five and then go about her duties.

Ohnari: ::snorting:: If you say so.

El’Heem: ::Clearing his throat:: Hey Othin, old buddy, old pal. Was wondering if you could grab something from storage fo-

Othin: Four minutes.

El’Heem: Rightttt.

Ras resumed his consultory supervision of the butt brigade and waited for Othin’s break to finish.

Ohnari: Is there something I can help you with Lieutenant or...?

El’Heem: Sorry chief. Union Rules and all that.

Now he was doing it too. She just rolled her eyes and ignored both of them.

Torado: Was it good for you, ladies? ::smirk:: Side effects we should be aware of?

Othin: Three minutes, 14 seconds.

Ohnari: Any extreme swelling, discomfort or pain, come and see us.

Torado: Got it. “In case of goo, promptly scrape marine into bucket and return to Sickbay.”

Ohnari: Yes, or that. Preferably a clean bucket, but you do you.

El’Heem: At least you don’t have to wear your heart on your sleeve, Lieutenant.

Talia grinned in full Chesire cat mischief.

Ohnari: ::blinking innocently:: What? I thought it went quite nicely with your complexion. Besides, it gets live readings so good LUCK hiding from me. ::raising a brow:: Why are you still here? Missing the chaos of Sickbay already?

Torado: Response

El’Heem: No, I’m done. I do need something for my gel packs back in science. I’m sure Othin will be kind enough to assist once her break is over.

Torado: Response

Ohnari: Ah I see. ::turning her head:: Live count nurse?

Othin: One minute, 11 seconds.

Talia had no idea if she had actually been counting, but given how fiercely the woman defended her right to five minutes, she was guessing the woman's internal clock was spot on.

El’Heem: See. Be done in a jiff!

Ohnari: ::eyes rolling again:: Well Torado, you and your marines are set. ::pointing to the one out of line:: I will send that one back after a quick infusion.

Torado: Response

Othin: Done. What do you need betrayer?

Ohnari: ::snapping:: Othin! We've talked about this.

Othin: ::dutifully reciting complete with eyeroll:: Inside thoughts do not become outside words when on duty.

Talia nodded sternly, waving to Ras as he was at the Mercy of the snappy Klingon, as much hell as she would give him, she was still willing to help. And that was all she could really do about it. Her focus turned to the unfortunate marine, looking more uncomfortable with pants up than he did previously.

Ohnari: I'm not going to ask how...but let's just agree we won't be visiting those sorts of establishments on leave, alright Soldier?

The admonished man nodded forlornly before returning to the privacy screen for treatment.

Still on track for one of the weirdest days ever
