The serum was finished. At the moment, she had no further responsibilities, so she returned to her primary duty: her patients. Truth be told, she was itching to see Tori. And of course Kael, but he was off doing...something else. It had only been a handful of hours, possibly days at this point, but somehow she kept checking with the computer on his location. It was starting to get weird.

So, she forced herself to be useful and not weirdly stalk her "maybe" son. oO Damn time travel. Oo

Walking into the isolation room, she almost ran directly into a pacing Tori.

Tori: Good!  Talia, you gotta get me out of here.

Ohnari: Whoa slow down kid, we've shown you where the bathroom is...

Talia could sense Tori's agitation, and she could understand. The timeline that Tori came from, there was not respite. She wouldn't be used to sitting, or in her case, pacing idly. Too bad there was nothing to be done about it at the moment. As much as she could, and probably would argue, she was in need of some significant medical care. Pure survival and probably a dash of spite, had kept the woman going.

Tori: Come on, I travelled through time for this.  I know we're over Alpha Trionus, and the Captain's sent away teams.  You expect me to stay put and wither when there's work to be done?

The spike of apprehension from the assigned security officer was almost laughable.

Ohnari: ::turning her focus to the guard:: At ease there, she's gone through a lot of trouble getting here, of course she's going to have made some assumptions on our location. Go stretch your legs. I will be seeing to my patient now. ::The dismissal was clear, but cordial. Personally, she thought it was ridiculous they had guards stationed with the travelers, but she was also admittedly far too biased and protective of two of them. She had no doubts the aged Admiral could hold her own.:: Tori, I need you to get back in bed.

Tori: :: A scoff :: I'm fine.  :: Beat ::  Well, we both know I'm not, but I'll live for the next - what is it now? - Three days?  There's got to be some way I can help stick it to those Mik'ta.

A snort mixed with a scoff left her lips. She was also seeing a lot of Amelia in Tori. In the future timeline, Tori had lost Amelia, and decidedly recently too. She knew Amelia would want to be here as much as she had been semi-stalking Kael and his movements about the ship. Maternal instincts were weirdly powerful. Especially when the most maternal instincts she normally had involved fighting against the oh so convincing pleading eyes of Statler Jr. But, despite them, he didn't get cherries every time...just...more than was strictly dietarily necessary.

oO Damn bat. Oo

Ohnari: Tori, honey, oO Whoa, that was weird Oo if we don't do something about your condition, the only thing you will be sticking is to this bed. As in permanently. Your bone density is...honestly I am worried about your own body weight, which is also drastically lower than healthy, snapping your tibias in two. Now, ::her stern doctor voice had taken on an additional edge, something akin to catching a child in the cookie jar prior to dinner:: Sit back down or I will restrain you.

Tori: Response

Ohnari: Look, I get it. After however long of planning, you got here. You aren't used to being sedentary, you are used to being overwhelmed and out gunned and a constant state of survival. And, while I admire your efforts and what sacrifices you've had to make along the way, you are here now. You've delivered your warning. And while we may not be in agreement on the best plan of attack, we're not idle. Now please, let me help you.

Tori: Response

Once again, she snorted. This woman was growing on her. The more she spent time with her, the more she could see how she and Kael fit. Still, it was awkward talking to her son's partner when she hadn't actually given birth to him yet. Or become pregnant. And if all worked out as planned, probably never would. A swirling jolt of sadness flicked her right in the solar plexus. This is why time travel was such a bad idea. She was making emotional connections to beings that may not ever end up existing.

It was all terribly sad. And confusing. And weird. Mostly weird.

Ohnari: Well you can blame your mother for your graceful, willowy frame, which has led to why your bone density loss is more advanced than Kael's and the Admiral. Although, she did have the Sencha implant device for longer, and wasn't born into this madness. Now, I am going to start the infusion you are going to be good and lay down so I don't have to bring that surly guard to glare and grump at you for the next forty seven minutes.

Tori: Response

Ohnari: ::smirking:: I figured you'd be counting down the minutes, so I gave you a lead start. Once it begins, it might feel...a little strange, like you're becoming heavier. The serum is going to be turbo-charging your cells to begin building marrow, as well as some additional medicines to help negate some of the worst of the damage. ::her mood turned to somber, there was another little tidbit of unfun she'd discovered, and wasn't quite sure how to approach.:: There is something...else I need to talk to you about...

Becoming jittery with impatience, Talia helped shuffle Tori back into the bed. A few adjustments and she loaded the serum into the injection port that had temporarily been installed. Most things were a quick hypo, but with the continued treatment, she decided a more direct delivery system was necessary. Plus the serum required a different delivery method. A hypo of the viscous compound would feel like a direct blast from a phaser on high stun.

Tori: Response

Ohnari: ::blinking rapidly:: Wh-wait. You know?! ::shaking her head:: Of course you know. Why wouldn't you know. ::she collapsed into sitting on the edge of the bed with an exhale:: Well damn. I had this consoling speech all lined up and ready to go and everything. ::smirking, she nudged the woman's legs beside her:: Look at you, being all emotionally stable and well regulated. ::raising an eyebrow:: I am clearly an aunt in name only. ::snorting:: I was an emotional wreck just figuring out how I was going to tell you. ::pausing, there was a wariness to her tone:: Does...Kael know?
