Thomas heard a noise and poked his head into the other room to see what had made it. He was considering what to pack--surely he wouldn't need a medkit aboard a cruise? He decided to leave it behind and caught a glimpse of a new person.

Anders: Carson Anders, reporting for duty. ::Looking around the sickbay:: I’m looking for Talia Ohnari? ::Clearing his throat:: Sorry, Lieutenant Commander Talia Ohnari?

Melville-Kilpatrick: ::pointing:: Over there.

Ohnari: Response

Anders: Pleasure to meet you. I’m coming aboard as a new surgeon. Primarily trauma in the past, but I can do amazing things with a scalpel.

Melville-Kilpatrick: Oh, trauma? I've worked in emergency mostly. Always good to have a surgeon. Hopefully we won't need one on shore leave.

Ohnari: Response

Melville-Kilpatrick: I wonder if it says something about the ship that we're getting a new surgeon.

Ohnari/Anders: Response
