Kingsley: Hmmm, just more ODN connections, but we'll probably have to wait until things settle down.  We can get some basic things working until then.

Leix: ::nods:: Of course. As long as I can get reports done without worrying I will lose what I’m working on, I should be fine for the moment.

Gwen nodded and rolled her shoulders, it was understandable that the officers and other higher-ups would need to get their work done.  Heaven knew she had enough busy work even at her own lowly position.

Kingsley: I'll try - I'm sure the Operations and Infrastructure folks have it under control, I'm just trying to fill in the gaps while they have their hands full.

Leix: ::smiles wanly:: Sorry. Still so much to do administrative taskwise. My mind has been going a dozen lightyears a second since the Captain told me I’d be stepping up for Major Han.

Kingsley: Understandable, it's a big job and probably going to stay that way for a long time.

Gwen was being sincere - the city was getting a bigger group of Marines than was aboard ship, which had the potential for bigger headaches for the upper management - not for her of course - but it didn't the non-comm couldn't commiserate for a moment.

Leix: Response

Kingsley: Well, I imagine the Security folks are going to be grateful for some help to patrol, we probably don't want anyone just sneaking into the areas we've secured.

Leix: Response

Kingsley: ::motioning toward her work:: And that's what I'm hoping to provide for all of us.

Leix: Response
