((Forward Lounge))

::It was safe to say that the last few days had been far too much of an adventure, so when given the opportunity to sit back and relax, he certainly took it.

::Today, "sit back and relax" meant "play a board game with Tasnim". With a bowl of crisps and chocolate coated berries Tristam couldn't remember the name of (the berries definitely weren't blue, though), the two were seated comfortably in the Invicta's forward lounge, the board projecting the holographic figures, and each with their own PADD to organize their colonies, resources and latinum.

::And Tristam had just landed on Alpha Starlines. Of which she owned.::

Core: If I'm giving you five bars of latinum, I better be traveling to the other side of the Delta quadrant.

::Having transferred to her the five bars put his latinum display at 200 slips, 89 strips, and 1 bar. Not to mention his 500 resources. He wasn't in any danger of shutting down his colonies - not yet, at least.::

Tasnim: Response?

Core: They're known for their commercial use of the slipstream drive. Traveling faster than faster than the speed of light, I believe was one of their phrases. ::He took a sip of his soda.:: Didn't last long, that one. Your roll.

Tasnim: Response?

Core: Personally I don't think so, though others might say otherwise. The Invicta has an annular warp drive, which means, trying to stuff in a slipstream drive on top of that would be difficult. And dangerous. Don't put too much stock into propulsion, my friend - the trade of engineering should be to better your way of life. Thus, components, life support, medical tech.

Tasnim: Response?
