Ensign Andrew Doran- Be beautiful and amazing

Andrew wasn’t the biggest fan of Adamas when it came to security, but he can’t deny that it’s beyond amazing to find out that they were holding an event similar to what he had experienced on Earth. 

Pride.

Such a simple word that had grown to mean something so important for a variety of people. 

Andrew himself decided to go, and even managed to get matching shirts for him and his husband, Shardon. The location was a bit of a surprise, considering what he had seen of the city so far. It was a large space that was open to the air with an actual water canal that split the space in half. There were bridges to cross to the other side, and booths set up with all kinds of items up for purchase. 

On top of that, there were stores and cafes that lined two sides of the plaza that were also open and sported all kinds of flags in support of the Pride event being held. Andrew smiled despite the already crowded space and he looked over the area enough to even spot some flowers that had been planted on the sides of the canal. 

Shardon: Do you think we will see any of your crewmembers?

Doran: That would be quite interesting. I would have thought it impossible on a planet this big, but we’ve already met with a few since shore leave started.

Andrew shrugged. At this point, anything could happen. 

Anyone: Response. 

Andrew couldn’t help but chuckle. 

Doran: It’s almost like you predicted the future, my heart.

Shardon: Either that or I jinxed us.

Anyone: Response

Doran: Come now! It’s not that bad!! This is a new adventure for all of us! I can’t wait to see what a planet with such a variety of races has in store for this kind of event. It already looks like they have all sorts of food to eat as we explore the booths as well. 

Shardon looked around before he gave a nod in agreement. Andrew was so excited that he even started to bounce in place a little. 

Doran: I hope they have cotton candy

Shardon sighed in an exasperated manner, but Andrew still caught a brief smile on his husband’s face. 

Shardon: Of course you do. 

Andrew grinned then motioned towards the path that went down the canal and past multiple booths, more than willing to find out what was in store with the people that had shown up. 

Anyone: Response.
