Ensign Valek - A Bit of Port

The three officers stood contemplating what they could possibly do on a planet filled with buildings, structures and technology, with perhaps little to no vegetation. Valek was sure there had to be something as he pondered silently.
Doran: They do have at least one tour available that I know of.
Neathler: Respond
Valek: I have no strong preference. I am receptive to whatever suggestions you may have.
Doran: If I may…if we can’t find anything suitable then we could always use the holodeck to create an environment. Maybe some places will deliver food.
Ensign Doran crossed his arms as if contemplating further.
Doran: Then again, if you really wanted a break from the ship then maybe the tea house is the best option.
Valek: Intriguing idea Ensign.
Neathler: Respond
Andrew looked over the green buildings and sighed lightly.
Doran: I really wish there were more options with some greenery. It’s almost like the people of the planet are allergic to plants. Or like the city outgrew the need for nature.
He paused when Doran brought up allergies and plants. Not that it unsettled him, but in the wake of their last mission, Valek took a moment, and looked at the Commander knowing she was probably thinking what he was thinking. The Gibaria Outpost mission would sit with many for a while.
Valek: I cannot speak for the Commander, but vegetation would not be my preferred choice at this time.
Neathler: Respond
Doran: That being said, I truly don’t have a preference for where we go.
Seems the Ensign Doran was in the same impasse as Valek. He did have one other idea that may be sufficient.
Valek: There is an alternative. I have a bottle of Vek'talan Reserve Port from my family's estate in my quarters. Perhaps we could find a location with a view of the city, share a glass, and converse.
Doran / Neathler: Respond
Valek: However, a modest quantity of Vulcan port may enhance a social occasion. Excessive consumption would be illogical, as it impairs one's ability to reason effectively.
