((Inside the Warehouse - Lower vIq'mItlh City))

Instead of entering the other part of the warehouse by luring the Klingons out into the warehouse, so they could sneak into the part where the Klingons currently resided, their plan faltered as Samira found herself caught in a beam of light when the female Klingon opened the door as if she had knocked on it. This resulted in some hide and seek from the team and the Klingons. Some bruises and a broken Vulcan wrist later, the outcome was in favor for team Gorkon.

A sample of the vegetables they suspected was used to make the drug was sent to the Gorkon. They had a secluded room to inspect at the back of the warehouse and the hacking skills from their helm officer not only revealed lots of encrypted files for which they lacked the key, but also alerted them that the door which the Gorkon officers had used to enter the warehouse, had been opened and they had the company of another male Klingon who was looking for a female Klingon named Kortag.

Samira was about to say something when suddenly there came a sound from the back of the warehouse. It sounded like a faint groan. Her tricorder hadn’t picked up any life signs in the backroom, but with Klingons, who used cloaking devices on their ships, that didn’t mean a thing. It could also mean that one of the knocked out Klingons woke up.

Kra’Neth: What was that?

The sound had been too far away to come from the assaulted Klingons. Either someone else had found another way into the warehouse or the backroom wasn’t as empty as they originally thought.

Tahna: I didn’t hear anything.

Auricsdóttir: Response

Spelvan: I will do another scan.

Tahna: Are you sure that’s just a scratch?

The Klingon did not answer. That didn't stop Spelvan from consulting his tricorder.

Spelvan: I am picking up movement and life-signs in the unmarked room. They could be engaging in an altercation of some kind. ::he looked expectantly at Tahna and Neathler:: I would like to stay here with our new friend for the time being.

Meru raised an eyebrow. Samira couldn’t recall seeing an entrance to the room at the back. Either it was hidden somehow or there was another entrance to the room. The Klingon in front of them kept smiling, apparently not surprised at all about the Vulcan’s findings.

Tahna: Was there something we can help you with?

Kra’Neth: Are you sure Kortag left? It is very unlike her to leave knowing a... ::He paused here, looking at all of them before he continued.:: friend will arrive.

Auricsdóttir: Response

Spelvan: Are you certain that you do not require medical attention? What is your name, and what brings you here? Can we assist you in any way?

Kra'Neth: If Kortag did not leave any instructions for you, then I doubt you will be able to help me. The name is Kra’Neth, trader at your service.

Spelvan: If I may be excused. I should ensure that the employees here are getting their much-needed rest.

At those words, Samira looked behind her. One of the Klingons with tied hands and feet was twitching in the aisle behind her. Meru nodded to Doctor Spelvan. When her gaze returned to the Klingon, she had the impression the smile on his features showed some amusement.

Tahna: Of course. It’s been a tiring day.

Neathler: Holler if you need any help.

Auricsdóttir: Response

Tahna: Since you don’t need medical attention, if you’d like to wait outside we’ll have the goods brought out. ::She smiled.:: No reason for you to load stuff yourself.

Kra’Neth: Ah, but I do need medical attention, though not from four strangers whom I have never seen here before.

Spelvan / Auricsdóttir: Response

A loud boom rattled the warehouse, and the smile faded from the Klingon’s face. Samira had to use all her willpower not to look behind her. Something had changed. The clean air had a hint of smoke. Meru was already moving toward the commotion, calling out to the Klingon over her shoulder.

Tahna: Wait outside, we’ll handle this.

Spelvan / Auricsdóttir: Response

Only when the Klingon moved and followed Meru and Astrid, Samira reacted herself. She quickly followed behind the Klingon and had drawn her phaser. As the Klingon looked sideways into the aisle, she knew he had seen too much. The Klingon continued but then stopped abruptly and she almost bumped into him. He moved into the aisle, leaning over the female Klingon.

Kra’Neth: Kortag! What have you done to her?

Neathler: She was tired and needed some sleep?

Tahna / Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response

Gone was the smile and friendliness from the Klingon. With his injury, there wasn’t much he could do, unless calling for help. His hand moved from his abdomen to his back as he straightened himself, yet Samira pointed her phaser towards him.

Neathler: We mean you no harm, you can still walk out and pretend you haven’t seen a thing.

Kra’Neth: And let you assault my people? I don’t think so!

Tahna / Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response

He moved forward, though before she could see what he held in his hand, Samira stunned him, and he dropped like a sack of vegetables at the feet of the female Klingon. She shook her head as her phaser disappeared into her coat again. She knelt next to the man, her gaze searching for Spelvan.

Neathler: Can you see to his injury?

Just like with the others, she already tore pieces of his clothing to tie him up once Spelvan had tended to the man. It was only now that she saw what he had in his hand, and it had not been a weapon. She looked at the device in her hand as she stood up, facing Tahna and Astrid.

Neathler: Did you find an entrance to that backroom? I didn't see any other door earlier when I walked around the warehouse.

Tahna / Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response
