((H'thamtuhko Bathhouse, Upper vIq'mItlh City))

The air was humid and thick in one of the many bathhouse pool rooms, like a fog designed to instil dauntlessness and valour. Grandiose and classical, tiled pillars depicting epic battles towered around the edges, striking in their mosaic design, holding the room together as would a warrior his trophies, daring to glint as the mossy water below lapped with little echoes. A paradise for the valiant…and maybe those with the temerity to be in love.

Sweat was already clinging to the material of the older woman's uniform, and her hair—usually snowy and to the shoulders—had started to lift into a defiant frizz. Joining her, a young yet gifted team of officers in the form of Gnaxac, Vesela Pace and Basso Laika, and their objective: to search one of the bathhouses of Upper vIq'mItlh City, locate the two missing heirs at the heart of an interhouse quarrel, and in doing so, quell the mounting accusations being hurled by each family.

Little hands on her hips, the older human eyeballed the large relaxation chamber around them inquisitively, cogs of her mind turning to figure out where they ought to begin.

Finch: Now apparently this was the place that our young and doting lovers often frequented. Ruktah and J'nara. My guess is that it's the closest thing they could get to a bit of peace and quiet from their feuding families.

Gnaxac / Pace / Basso: Response

She smiled readily with warm cheeks, imagining what likely lay ahead of them. Saunas powered by scorching hot coals, restorative mud baths, hydrotherapy caverns, and endless other austerely built rooms within which those of valour could bathe not just wounds of the bat’leth, but perhaps the heart and soul too.

Finch: We’re here to try to find them, or at the very least anything that might give us a hint as to where they might be.

Gnaxac / Pace / Basso: Response

Had she been one of the two sweethearts, she could understand the attraction. The bathhouse had an unburdened sense of privacy and tranquillity. At least, as tranquil as it gets in a place pillared by glistering tiled imagery. Despite the bad blood between the two families, the governor believed that the pair had run away together, rather than disappearing through nefarious means, and so the H'thamtuhko Bathhouse was as good a first lead as any.

Finch: It’s relatively quiet apart from the odd slumbering warrior, so we’ll use what we can, search for physical evidence and clues, even consider camera footage. If there’s an avenue, then you can bet your cotton socks we’ll investigate it.

Gnaxac / Pace / Basso: Response
