((Dirt Road to Sershia Market, Deluvia IV))

Standing at the rear end of a powdered-blue wooden wagon, Doz squinted up at the scorching sun, smiling widely through her gathered wrinkles of life and laughter. She’d made arrangements to visit Sershia Market, a marvellous hidden gem further inland, full of colourful food stands and merchant stalls. The old human had heard whispers about it, you see, the good kind — the only catch being that you had to get there this way or by foot, as direct transports or shuttles were discouraged.

Finch: Hello, love! I’m Doz. Coming along for the ride?

Spelvan: Response

When she spotted the blue-eyed Vulcan, snowy-haired like herself, she wasn’t altogether sure who it was and whether or not he was simply a tourist or part of the crew, but he looked a tad out of place among the locals there, not exactly hard for a Vulcan. With an arm outstretched, another man on the wagon pulled Doz up onto it, and she found herself a little splintery seat facing a row of others aiming for the same destination.

Finch: Ah! I remember who you are now. Yes, you were on veHrom'nagh with one of our away teams. How did you find it?

Spelvan: Response

Her shoulders bobbed with amusement. It was very Starfleet to get thrown immediately into the thick of everything. Deluvia was worlds away from the Klingon colony, and not just literally, but in every other sense of the word. A buzzing insect lingered around her red hat, and she wafted it away as they waited for more people to pile into the seats.

Finch: I remember my first Gorkon assignment. Had to fly the Azetbur through kaleidoscopic clouds. Did it with complete finesse, of course, not a scratch in sight. ::She chuckled.:: A bit different from this mode of transport!
