Lt. Commander Ayiana Sevo - Wintry Wonderland

The biting cold was the first thing Ayiana felt after she materialized next to Cory. At first, she thought the process was still ongoing, because there were bluish-white specks in her vision. It took a moment for her to realize it was snow coming down. Looking around to take her bearings, she saw a large sign marked “Laikan Flora Emporium” in Andorian and Federation script. Next to her, Cory shivered in his jacket.
Stoyer: Well, Andoria was everything they made it out to be.
Sevo: Brr. No kidding. I don’t think I have enough layers.
It was well known on the ship that Ayiana disliked cold weather. Her home coastal city of Najana on Trill sat on the equator, so she was used to warmer weather. Thus, whenever they set down on a snowy or icy world, Ayiana was often found bundled up in enough layers of clothing to make a Canadian jealous.
She wore thick, heat-retaining, hydrophobic leather black pants and knee-high fur-lined leather grey boots. Her torso was wrapped in a thermal undercoat, sweater, and a thick heat-retaining black jacket, lined with grey fur on its edges. The jacket had a detachable part that covered her neck and lower face. It’s hood wrapped behind her head, covering her ears and forehead. Black gloves completed the ensemble. Ultimately, only her vibrant blue eyes and the top edge of her cold-kissed, freckled cheeks were visible.
Those eyes locked with Cory’s — damn those eyes of his — and he grabbed her hand.
Stoyer: Shall we see what they have?
Sevo: Let’s go. Though I have no idea what we’re looking for.
Stoyer: Response
There were several people mulling about; most of multiple species. The employees were all Andorians, and they were dressed much looser. The cold must feel nice to them. Ayiana often wondered how the ship’s ambient temperature felt to races acclimated to hotter or colder climes. Setting foot on this planet gave Ayiana a new appreciation for Andorians like Vylaa and Pira.
Worker: Welcome to the Laikan Flora Emporium! Is there anything I can help you find?
Sevo: Cory here needs a tree for “Christmas.” ::She patted his arm.::

Worker: Ah yes, a popular Human tradition. We see a lot of Humans this time of year. Any type of tree in mind? We grow varieties of cold-acclimated plants from multiple planets.
