Pace: These vines, are they covered in the moss?

The doctor ran a scan and her brow furrowed ever so slightly and logically.

V’Lar: The localised radiation is still interfering with my tricorder. However, visually it appears consistent with the moss we previously encountered within the outpost's medical laboratory. Given our lack of empirical data regarding its properties, I suggest caution.

Pace: Aye, sir. Careful’s my middle name, especially in this dimension.

Tahna: Response

This whole dimension warranted caution. Vesela wondered how anyone could survive here, everything was… topsy turvy, one of her favorite human sayings.

V’Lar: Lieutenant, would a spectral analysis be more likely to succeed?

Vesela nodded.

Pace: Yes, sir, that’s a great idea! ::She was already reaching for her tricorder before the sentence was finished.::

Tahna: Response

The Commander gave a small nod of agreement, then stepped back and angled her light so Vesela could see better. She made the necessary modifications to run a spectral analysis and nodded as the data rolled in.

V’Lar: Do your readings match those of the sample encountered in the laboratory?

Pace: Yes they do, doctor. I wonder why it’s so dense here though…

Tahna / V’Lar: Response

Vesela looked up at the vine-trees around them, so thick they blocked out all of the light. Vesela almost reached out to touch the one she’d run the spectral analysis on, wondering just how tall they were. She remembered where they were before she did that though.

Just then the ground trembled, nearly sending Vesela sprawling. Vesela looked at her tricorder, brow furrowing.

Pace: Uh, the scientists are on the move again… are they coming this way?
