J’nara’s necklace swiftly became a case of a Russian nesting doll with the parts hidden. First, a transporter relay found within the locker room belonged inside the necklace. Now, the team was on the search for a chip belonging to the relay which would hold the coordinates. 

Basso: Please be nice to me, chip. ::She spoke to her pile of trash, before looking up at the group.:: Anything here that matches the transporter relay?

Finch: There! Right by your hand. Silver and square with little legs on all sides. Here, I’ll shine my torch on it.

Gnaxac: Where?!

Basso: Here!

With a careful hand, Laika retrieved the transporter relay chip from the trash. She extended to Finch for her expertise. 

Pace: Response

Finch: We’ll try attaching it to the relay first shall we, and then see if we can pull out any pre-planned transport details.

From Basso’s bag, Gnaxac retrieved the transporter relay. Eager, Laika watched the Ferengi work with the relay. If they can get the coordinates, they’ll get closer to finding their missing heirs.

Gnaxac: Right, here we g-g-g-go. ::his tricorder started to scan the necklace:: Oooh, g-g-getting some fragmented d-d-data.

 Basso: Anything usable?  

Finch / Pace: Response

 With Gnaxac’s facial reaction, something worthwhile was retrieved.

Gnaxac: Looks like the transporter b-b-beam was programmed to g-g-g-go to… a mining c-c-colony? Surely that c-c-can’t be correct?

Basso: Not exactly a romantic getaway, unless you’re a geologist.

Finch / Pace: Response

Basso programmed the coordinates into her tricorder to search who owned the mining colony. 

Basso: If I remember correctly, the Great House vltoS rules the planet, but Qln’Hud and Qup’Dev each own mines on the planet, right?

Gnaxac / Finch / Pace: Response

Squinting, Laika reviewed the mine colony information before reporting to the team.

Basso: It appears that the mining colony for J’nara’s transporter relay isn’t for the Qup’Dev but for Qln’Hud. Why would it be for her family’s opposing house?
