(( Back Alley - Lower vIq'mItlh City))

Having obtained a sample of a drug, if it was the drug they were after, only a further investigation would reveal that, the foursome decided it was time to leave the pub. Especially since some new arrival had pointed in their direction while talking or arguing rather with the drug dealer. With the ensigns following Tahna, Samira had opted for the last position in their group but then quickly changed tactics, running forward and pushed a Klingon into the arms of his companions. Her idea worked only half as one of the Klingons got a hold on Spelvan.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the pushed Klingon drawing a curved blade. Instinctively, Samira ducked and moved towards the pub’s exit, though she was pulled back when someone grabbed her coat’s sleeve. Using her free hand, she grabbed the grabbed arm and pulled, and she felt the fabric tearing as she got free and hurried out of the pub. The rain, fresh air and surrounding sounds were a welcome treat after the noisy pub, but she heard the pub’s door open already, followed by a lot of cursing and shouting.

Neathler: Run!

Auricsdóttir: Response

Spelvan: I will do my best.

The Klingon holding Spelvan had made the mistake of leaving Spelvan’s arms free, and the Vulcan did what any good Vulcan would do and pinched the Klingon in his neck and then rolled on his side and out of reach. Tahna grabbed a mug and hurled towards another Klingon. Spelvan came into action again as a table filled with empty tankards was shoved between the Klingons and Astrid. Glasses lost their battle with the ground and shattered into pieces. Next, the Vulcan grabbed their pilot and pulled her through the crowd. Samira quickly followed. It was obvious this group didn’t need any security officer with them. They could handle themselves pretty well in a battle.

Spelvan: Are you unharmed?

Auricsdóttir: Response

Tahna held open the door, and they all rushed out of the pub into the rainy streets. Letting go of the pilot, Spelvan pulled his hood back up. Samira heard the rattling of a bin as Tahna knocked it over in front of the door. Yep, they could handle themselves quite alright.

Spelvan: I apologize. It appears our undercover status may have been compromised.

Tahna: Oh well. Run.

Neathler: We only needed a cover to buy the drugs.

Samira explained as she followed the others jogging in the rain.

Auricsdóttir: Response

Splevan: Where should we go?

Tahna: Anywhere, come on!

Auricsdóttir: Response

Anywhere where the Klingons no longer pursued them was a good place. They ran down the street away from the hospital, one alley in, followed by another and another. If Tahna was following some route, Samira didn’t know and right now, it didn’t really matter. She had her eyes and ears open, not that there was much to see in the dark streets. But she didn’t hear any running footsteps following them. Arriving in a back alley, Tahna slowed down, the rain being their only other company. Samira took a few deep breaths, her eyes roaming over the others, making sure nobody got hurt in the pub ‘fight’. Tahna even managed a smile.

Tahna: Let’s not do that again!

Neathler: Fine, fine, no more pubs.

Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response

Tahna: A karaoke bar was not a bad suggestion, but I worry it will be busy and put more eyes on us. ::She frowned, looking up and down the alley.:: If we’re careful, we may be able to do some quick analysis of the substance here, and see if it’s something we can track.

Neathler: Why don’t you go a head, I’ll keep watch.

Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response

She walked a few steps back towards the main alley, but kept within hearing distance of the others. With the dim light and the rain, it was easy to hide in the shadows. Which meant anyone spying on them could easily be doing the same thing.

Tahna / Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response

She heard footsteps coming their way, joined by loud voices. Samira pushed her back against the wall she stood against, making sure her own shadow was as small as possible. Luckily, the voices and footsteps passed the back alley and continued their way. She took a deep breath and returned to the others.

Neathler: Any luck?

Tahna / Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response

She pulled up her own tricorder. A few moments later, she had their coordinates and the map. She turned her back to the main alley to hide the holographic map that appeared. A grin appeared as she indeed noticed a few karaoke bars on the map. But she kept quiet about them and suggested something else instead.

Neathler: How about a walk in the park? We might have some shelter from the trees, and there are several exits we can take if necessary.

Tahna / Auricsdóttir / Spelvan: Response
